This study aimed to planning multicultural career education during the classes in the elementary school. In this study, the concept of multicultural career education is integrated education of the multicultural education and career education, that is, educating career ability connected with multicultural ability through the classes in the elementary school. For this study, the purpose of career education and multicultural education of the elementary school was analysed and they were arranged with similar aimes of the classes. All of the subjects of the elementary school from 1st to the 6th was analyed according to the achieving level, the content of career ability and the multicultural ability. And they were divided by three levels according to the grade. As a result, the three multicultural career education plans were suggested availale to the calsses in the elementary school. And an example cases for multicultural career education for 2nd in the elementary school. class were suggested.

이 연구는 초등학교 수업을 활용한 다문화진로교육의 방안을 모색하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이 글에서의 다문화진로교육이란 일상적인 수업을 통하여 이루어질 수 있는 다문화교육과 진로교육의 연계를 통한 통합적 교육을 말한다. 초등학교 진로교육은 긍정적 자아개념 형성 을 바탕으로 하여 진로 기초 소양을 기르는 것이 그 목표이다. 다문화교육 또한 기본적으로 공감, 수용, 갈등해결을 바탕으로 한 문화적 태도, 자아정체성 및 가치관의 형성 등을 그 목 표로 하고 있다. 이러한 유사성을 바탕으로 초등학교 교과 수업을 통한 다문화진로교육의 방 안을 모색해 보고자 하였으며, 다음과 같은 연구 과정을 통한 연구 결과를 산출하였다. 첫째, 초등학교 1학년에서 6학년까지 각 학년별 교과별 성취 기준을 분석하였고, 둘째, 그 기준에 따라 진로교육 및 다문화교육과 연계 가능한 교과 및 관련 시간들을 추출하였다. 셋째, 이에 따라 저학년, 중학년 및 고학년 군으로 나누어 관련 교과목의 각 수업 목표, 연계될 수 있는 진로 역량과 다문화 역량을 제시하였으며, 넷째, 초등학교 저학년에서 활용될 수 있는 다문 화진로교육 수업안을 구안하여 그 예를 제시하였다.
