The purpose of this study is to find whether the group who took a semester off to get an admission of better college(the experience of ban-soo) has different background factor with the other group. And, also, the purpose of this study is to find whether this experience had an effect on satisfaction of college and adjustment of college life. For this purpose, the data of the GOMS 2014 ~ 2015 were used for the analysis. The main results of the study are as follows. First, there are significant differences of background factors between the ban-soo experienced group(BSE group) and the control group. The most frequently chosen criteria for selecting colleges in the BSE group were “the CSAT and school grades”. The criteria for choosing majors were high in the order of “academic interest and aptitude”, “academic and school grades”, and “career and job prospects”. The BSE group had higher “academic interest and aptitude” responses than comparison groups, but had lower “academic interest and aptitude”. Second, it has found that there are significant differences between the BSE group and the control group in adapting to college life, such as grades, major curricula and content, and so on. Finally, the BSE group differed from the control group in relation to college life adaptation, but did not affect the level of the whole satisfaction with the college. It is important to note that this study was empirically verified by noting the phenomenon of the BSE that frequently appears in college. Based on the results of these studies, the implications of applying to college life by the BSE were derived.

본 연구에서는 반수경험자들의 대학이전 요인에 대해 살펴보고 반수경험이 대학생활적응과 학교에 대한 만족에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 대졸자직업이동경 로조사(GOMS) 2014~2015 자료를 분석에 사용하였으며 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫 째, 반수경험집단과 대조집단은 대학이전 요인에 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 반수경험자 집단의 대학 선택 기준은 ‘수능 및 학교성적’이 가장 많았고 전공 선택의 기준은 ‘학문적 흥미와 적성’ 과 ‘수능 및 학교 성적’, ‘직업 및 취업전망’의 순으로 높았다. 또한 반수경험집단은 대조집단에 비해 ‘수능 및 학교 성적’ 응답은 높지만 ‘학문적 흥미와 적성’ 응답은 낮게 나타났다. 둘째 반 수경험집단은 대조집단에 비하여 학점, 전공 커리큘럼 및 내용, 수업방식 및 질에 대한 만족도, 전공에 대한 만족도, 전공교수진의 능력과 열의, 진로관련 상담 및 지원제도, 학교 환경에 대한 만족도 등은 낮았지만 복수전공 선택, 토익점수를 비롯한 진로준비행동에는 더욱 적극적 인 것으로 나타나 대학생활 적응에 있어 반수경험집단과 대조집단은 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 마지막으로 반수경험은 대학생활적응과 관련하여 대조집단과 차이를 보였지 만 대학에 대한 전반적인 만족수준에는 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 대학 에서 빈번하게 나타나는 반수라는 현상에 주목하고 실증적으로 검증하였다는데 중요한 의의 가 있으며 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 반수경험자들의 대학생활적응과 관련한 시사점을 도출 하였다.
