This study was conceived to investigate the connections between the MBTI preference indicators and MMPI-2 profile types, and KHTP response characteristics. The data in this study are the results of psychological tests conducted on 83 counseling graduate students. Data analysis was conducted with cluster analysis and cross-tabulation. As a result, among the MBTI preference indicators, the attitude index(EI) differed in the line style of the Tree drawing, and the perception function index(SN) differed in the style of the drawing weather, the door of the House drawing, and the eyes of the Person drawing. Judgment function index(TF) was different in the size of the House drawing, the roof of the house, the size of the tree and the response style of the roots of the tree. The lifestyle index(JP) differed in the line of the fence of the House drawing, the water pipe of the Tree drawing, and the line of Person drawing. Second, the difference according to the type of MMPI-2 profile were correlated in the closeness of the whole drawing, the weather, the line of the Tree drawing line, the roots of the Tree drawing, and the flower or fruit form. In addition, the analysis of the MMPI-2 profile types through cluster analysis resulted in accurate classification of all I, II and III types. Finally, based on the results of this study, it was confirmed that the interpretation direction may vary according to the type of personality and the type of MMPI-2 profile. These results are expected to provide understandable information regarding the psychological characteristics of counseling graduate students and to help to student counseling and guidance.

본 연구는 MBTI 선호지표와 MMPI-2의 프로파일 유형에 따른 KHTP 그림검사 반응 양식의 특성을 알아보기 위해 진행되었다. 이를 위해 상담전공 대학원생들 83명의 MBTI-K, MMPI-2, KHTP 검사 결과를 군집분석과 교차분석하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, MBTI 선호지표 중에서 태도지표(EI)는 나무그림의 선의 양식에서 차이가 있었으며, 인 식기능지표(SN)는 그림 전체 날씨, 집그림의 문, 사람그림의 눈의 양식에서 차이가 있었 다. 판단기능지표(TF)는 집 크기와 집의 지붕, 나무 크기와 나무의 뿌리 반응양식에서 차이가 있었으며, 생활방식지표(JP)는 집 그림의 울타리, 나무그림의 수관, 사람그림의 선에서 차이가 있었다. 둘째, MMPI-2 프로파일 유형에 따른 차이에서는 그림전체의 밀 착, 날씨, 나무그림의 선, 나무 뿌리, 꽃이나 열매 양식에서 연관성이 확인되었다. 또한, 군집분석을 통하여 MMPI-2 프로파일 유형을 판별 분석한 결과 Ⅰ유형, Ⅱ유형, Ⅲ유형 모두 정확하게 분류되었다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 KHTP 그림검사를 해석함에 있어 인간의 성격유형과 MMPI-2 프로파일 유형에 따라 해석의 방향이 달라질 수 있음을 확 인하였다. 이러한 결과는 상담전공 대학원생들의 심리적 특성을 성격특성과 관련하여 이 해할 수 있는 정보를 제공할 것으로 기대하며, 학생상담과 지도에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이라 생각된다.
