The sports environment of Yongin city was analyzed empirically to study the sports policies and tasks of Yongin city. To this end, in-depth interviews were conducted for the final 242 open-ended questionnaires of six sports professionals, sports professionals, and sports administrators in Yongin city. An inductive category analysis was conducted on the open questionnaire, and the content of the in-depth interview was used as a supplementary data. The research results, policies, and tasks are as follows. As a result of conceptualizing the phenomenon shown in the open questionnaire, we extracted 496 primary raw materials that analyzed the open questionnaire. Similar raw data of problems (dissatisfaction) were bundled and the results were obtained in the order of core categories of sports services (47.3%), sports facilities (33.7%), and sports administration (19.0%). As a sports policy for Yongin citizens. First, opening and expansion of public sports facilities, Second, building various sports programs. Third, the efficient use and management of sports leaders, Fourth, development of sports promotion policy, Fifth, vitalizing the organization of sports enthusiasts, Sixth, the integrated management system of public sports facilities was established. The challenge to implement these policies is: The role and function of the sports council in Yongin city should be expanded. Specifically, it will establish an integrated sports system and a sports science research center in Yongin city.

용인시의 스포츠 환경을 실증적으로 분석하여 용인시 체육 정책 및 과제를 연구하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 용인시 에서 체육활동을 하고 있는 생활체육인, 전문체육인, 체육행정인의 최종 242명의 개방형 설문과 6명의 체육전문가 집단 을 대상으로 심층면담을 실시하였다. 개방형 설문에 대하여 귀납적 범주 분석을 실시하였고, 심층면담의 내용은 보완 설명하는 자료로 활용 되었다. 이에 따른 연구결과와 정책 및 과제는 다음과 같다. 개방형 설문지를 통해 나타난 현상을 개념화 시킨 결과로 개방형 설문을 분석한 1차 원자료 496개를 추출하고, 문제점(불만족)의 유사한 원자료를 묶어 핵심 범주의 체육서비스(47.3%), 체육시설(33.7%), 체육행정(19.0%) 순으로 결과를 도출하였다. 용인시민을 위한 체육 정책으로는 첫째, 공공체육시설의 개방 및 확충, 둘째, 다양한 생활체육 프로그램 구축, 셋째, 생활체육지도자의 효율적 활용 및 관리, 넷째, 생활체육 진흥 정책 개발, 다섯째, 생활체육 동호인 조직의 활성화, 여섯째, 공공체육시설 통합 관리 시스템 구축으로 나타났고, 이러한 정책을 실행하기 위한 과제로는 용인시 체육회의 역할과 기능을 확대해야 하며, 구체적 으로 용인시 통합스포츠시스템 구축, 용인시 스포츠과학 연구센터 신설이다.
