The study identified the generation that participated in the 3.1 movement among the main members of the segment movement that developed in North Jeolla Province after the March 1st Movement to reveal the sustainability of the movement. The Japanese literature also showed that the reduction and destruction of the March 1 Independence Movement in Jeollabuk-do was carried out in a serious way, and that the figures who participated in the March 1 Independence Movement were again on the road without being daunted by Japan's oppression and hardship In particular, figures who participated in the Donghak Revolution and played a leading role in the March 1 Movement and the New Episcopal Movement were also found. After Im Jong-hwan, Lim Hyuk-geun, Lim Young-taek, Bae Hun and Kim Byung-soo participated in the March 1 Independence Movement, they embraced new ideas and emerged as the main actors in the youth movement. Yoo Tae-hong, a native of Namwon who participated in the Donghak Revolution, participated in the March 1 Independence Movement to continue the movement. In addition, farmers and the labor movement also see figures that show the completeness of the movement rather than the sever Baeheon, who has expanded its scope to youth movement, new society movement, and labor movement, is a representative figure.

이 연구는 3.1운동 이후 전라북도지역에서 전개되었던 부문운동의 주역들 가운데 3.1운동 참여세대를 규명하여 운동의 지속성을 밝히려 했다. 일제의 문헌에 의해 전라북도 3.1운동의 축소 및 훼손이 심각하게 진행되었고 이를 바로잡기 위한 방편의 하나로 3.1운동에 참여했던 인물들이 일제의 핍박과 고난에도 굴하지 않고 다시 독립운동의 노정을 밟았다는 점을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 동학혁명에 참여하고 3.1운동과 신간회운동에서 주도적인 역할을 한 인물도 발굴할 수 있었다. 임종환, 임혁근, 임영택, 배헌, 김병수 등이 3.1운동에 참여한 이후 새로운 사상을 받아들여 청년운동의 주역으로 등장하였다. 동학혁명에 참여한 남원 출신의 유태홍 등이 3.1운동을 거치면서 운동의 지속성을 이어나가기 위해 신간회에 적극적으로 참여한 사례들이 보인다. 뿐만 아니라 농민, 노동운동에서도 운동의 단절성 보다는 보완성을 보여주는 인물들이 보인다. 청년운동, 신간회운동, 노동운동에까지 그 영역을 넓힌 배헌이 그 대표적인 인물이다.
