The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference in visual search strategies during various attack situations in soccer according to youth players. Expert participants had at least 5.5 years of experience(427matches), and novice participants had no more than one year of experience in this experiment(40matches). All subject had performed the task 20 times and passed the ball when they thought they could create a decisive goal. In this process, the participants’eye movement was recorded during each trial, and the mean visual search rate(fixation frequency, the ratio of fixation duration), fixation location(ball possession, center, right side, right place, left side, left place, unspecified place), and eye movement pattern was analyzed. The results of this study were as follow. First, for regarding the eye fixation, experts appear to have less eye fixation frequency than non-experts. Also, experts fixed their eyes longer than non-experts in the percentage of gaze fixed time. Secondly, total regional fixation duration revealed that experts showed longer fixation time on the center area and paid less attention to the other areas. However, non-experts showed longer fixation time on the center area that included the area of left and right side. Finally, the frequency distribution of eye movement patterns between experts and non-experts revealed that the experts usually used eye movement patterns that included the center area and the area of ball possession. However, the date from the non-experts did not show any common eye movement patterns.

본 연구는 축구 공격 전술상황 시 유소년 숙련자와 초보자간에 어떠한 시각탐색 전략의 차이가 있는지를 밝히는데 그 목적이 있다. 유소년 축구 선수 경력 5.5년 이상(경기 경력: 427경기)의 숙련자와 축구 경력 1년 이내의 초보자 (경기 경력: 40경기)가 본 실험에 참여하였으며, 모든 연구대상자는 비디오 영상에서 제시되는 다양한 공격 전술상 황에서 결정적인 골 찬스를 만들 수 있다고 생각되는 순간에 패스를 하는 과제를 총 20회씩 수행하였다. 이 과정에 서 연구대상자의 안구움직임을 기록하였으며, 연구대상자의 시각 탐색률(시선고정 빈도, 시선고정 시간), 전체영역 별 시선고정 위치(볼소유, 중앙, 우측, 우측 공간, 좌측, 좌측 공간, 기타 영역), 시선행동패턴을 분석하여 기술 숙련 성에 따른 시각탐색 전략의 차이를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 시선고정 빈도는 숙련자가 초 보자에 비해 적은 시선고정 빈도가 나타났으며, 전체수행 시간 중 시선고정 시간 비율은 숙련자가 초보자보다 더 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 전체영역별 시선고정 위치는 숙련자가 초보자에 비해 볼소유, 중앙 영역에 주로 시선을 고정 한 것으로 나타났으며, 초보자는 중앙을 포함한 우측, 좌측 공간, 좌측, 기타 영역에 다양하게 시선을 움직이는 것 으로 나타났다. 셋째, 시선행동패턴은 숙련자가 주로 중앙, 볼소유-중앙, 볼소유-공간의 시선행동패턴 유형을 활용 하였고, 초보자는 일정한 시선행동패턴을 찾아볼 수 없는 것으로 나타났다.
