The purpose of this study is to investigate relations between parental support and dance adherence intention in a bilateral and multiphase way by applying APIM(Actor and Partner Interdependent Model). Subjects of this study include dance major students enrolled in four-year colleges and their parents in Seoul, This study used questionnaire as a tool for measuring parental support and dance adherence intention. Of the non-probability sampling methods, convenience sampling was employed for sampling of study subjects, and this study collected 360questionnaires (180 pairs of parents-student) and used for analysis. First, actor effect verification results show that parental support( A) perceived by child affected (A→C) child’s dance adherence intention(C). Parental support(B) exerted an influence( B→D) on the dance adherence intention(D) that parents expect from the child. Second, as a result of verifying parents-child effect, parental support(A) perceived by child affected(A→D) dance adherence intention(D) that parents expect from child. Parental support(B) had an effect(B→C) on child’s dance adherence intention(C).

이 연구는 APIM(Actor and Partner Independence Model)을 적용하여 부모의 지지와 무용지속의도의 관계를 양방향, 다국면적으로 구명하는 것이 목적이다. 연구대상표집방법은 비확률 추출법(non-probability sampling) 중에서 편의표본추출법(convenience sampling)을 사용하였으며, 배포한 설문지 360부(부모-자녀 180쌍)를 회 수하여 분석에 사용하였다. 자료처리는 탐색적 요인분석(Exploratory Factor Analysis), 확인적 요인분석 (Confirmatory Factor Analysis), 신뢰도 분석(Reliability Analysis), 상관분석(Correlation Analysis), 카이제곱 검증(Chi-squared test)을 실시하였다. 이 연구의 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자기효과를 검증한 결과 자녀 가 느끼는 부모의 지지(A)는 자녀 자신의 무용지속의도(C)에 영향을 미쳤다(A→C). 부모의 지지(B)는 부모가 자 녀에게 기대하는 무용지속의도(D)에 영향을 미쳤다(B→D). 둘째, 부모-자녀 효과를 검증한 결과 자녀가 느끼는 부모의 지지(A)는 부모가 자녀에게 기대하는 무용지속의도(D)에 영향을 미쳤다(A→D). 부모의지지(B)는 자녀 자신의 무용지속의도(C)에 영향을 미쳤다(B→C). 이러한 결과를 토대로 이 연구는 무용전공자들을 위한 무용학 의 기초자료로 활용 될 수 있을 것이다.
