This The purpose of this study is to provide basic data on systematic curriculum design through analyzing each student’s needs in dance classes specialized in college musical major dance class. To this end, The conjoint analysis was conducted on 355 college students majoring in musical in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do, which was to investigate the attribute importance and attribute level utility of dance classes. Estimating the attribute importance and attribute level utility of dance classes, practice & theory, basic: choreography (5:5), personal tasks, and creative choreography were the highest for the utility of attribute levels. The results of cluster analysis on the characteristics of preference type by the group were as follows. For attribute importance by groups, In Group 1 of 157, it is the highest in class-course, In Group 2 of 165, it is the highest in the evaluation method. Simulating of four virtual courses, C-types class based on practice & theory has the highest point, whose ratio of basic to choreography is 5:5. And personal tasks and creative choreography are a major evaluation element. These analyses have resulted in the following conclusions. First, theoretical education on understanding art forms was necessary. Second, the curriculum of basic and practical should be balanced. Third, the task for personal competency development- oriented should be carried out. Fourth, creative education for developing the movement was required. This analysis of dance class preferences for musical theatre majors would be important data for establishing concrete dance education plans, which contributes to developing the balanced components of musical theatre education.

본 연구는 대학 뮤지컬 전공의 무용 수업 선호 유형을 통해 학습자 요구를 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기 지역 대학 뮤지컬 전공 대학생 322명을 대상으로 무용 수업의 속성, 속성 수준에 관한 컨조인트 분석을 실시하였 다. 분석 결과 실기와 이론을 병행하는 수업내용과 기초 : 안무 비율이 5 : 5인 수업과정, 개인과제, 지정안무와 창 작안무를 함께 평가하는 수업을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 군집 분석을 실시하여 군집에 따른 선호 유형의 특성 을 분석한 결과 군집 1은 157명으로 수업과정에서 중요도가 가장 높게 나타났고, 군집 2는 165명으로 평가방법 에서 중요도가 가장 높게 나타났다. 4개의 가상 강좌에 대해 시뮬레이션 한 결과 실기와 이론을 병행하고, 기초 : 안무 5 : 5, 개인 과제, 창작 안무로 평가 받는 경우인 C 타입의 수업 점수가 가장 높게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 다음과 같은 내용의 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 예술 전반의 이해를 위한 이론교육이 필요하다. 둘째, 기초와 실제 의 균형적인 수업과정이 이루어져야한다. 셋째, 개인 역량 개발을 중심으로 한 과제가 필요하다. 넷째, 움직임 개발 구성을 위한 창작교육이 필요하다. 본 연구에서 진행되는 뮤지컬 전공자의 무용 수업 선호도 분석은 무용 교육의 구체적 계획을 위한 자료가 될 것이며, 나아가 뮤지컬 구성요소에 있어 균형 있는 발전을 도모할 것이다.
