The market for second-hand luxury goods is growing sharply due to increasing consumption of luxury goods and reasonable consumer sentiment. As the growth rate of the second-hand luxury market outpaced that of the luxury goods market, consumers' bad perception on second-hand goods has been changed. However, problems such as information asymmetry and mistrust between sellers and buyers make it difficult for second-hand luxury goods market grow even further. This study proposed the use of Blockchain technology to resolve such problems in current market of used luxury goods. We designed the model for implementing the trading service of used luxury goods, using blockchain. The model was used to study the acceptance intention of blockchain-based platforms. The UTAUT (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) theory and analysis were used to design the research model and hypotheses which were empirically tested through surveys. Specifically, we examined whether fairness (i.e., the important concept in ‘Token Economy,’ which was not carried out in previous studies) would affect the intention of accepting blockchain technology in particular. By selecting 'security,’ ‘reliability,’ and 'fairness’ as independent variables, we examined the intention of accepting blockchain technology. Based on the results, we discuss the acceptability of blockchain technology and the rationale for application of token economy system.

명품의 희소성과 실속형 소비형태의 증가로 중고명품 시장이 빠르게 성장하고 있다. 그러나 판매자와 구매자 사이의 정보 비대칭으로 인하여 발생하는 불확실한 판매가격, 가품 판매 등의 문제는 기존 중고명품 시장의 발전을 저해하고 있다. 본 연구는 중고명품 시장의 문제 해결을 위하여 블록체인 기반의 토큰 이코노미가 적용된 중고명품 거래서비스 개발전략을 위한 구현 모 델을 제안한다. 이후, 통합기술수용이론(UTAUT)을 활용하여 해당 모델에 관한 연구가설을 수 립하고, 사용자 측면에서의 수용의도를 실증한다. 연구자들은 선행 연구에서 수행되었던 블록체 인 기술의 ‘보안성’ 및 ‘신뢰성’의 독립변수 외에 토큰 이코노미와 관련된 ‘공정성’ 항목을 추가 하여 연구를 수행하였다. 연구결과로서, ‘보안성’ 및 ‘신뢰성’의 블록체인 기술 특성과 비교하여 토큰 이코노미 촉진자로서의 블록체인 특성인 ‘공정성’이 제안된 중고명품 거래서비스의 수용의 도와 연관성이 높음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 성공적인 중고명품 거래서비스 구현을 위하여 블 록체인 기반의 토큰 이코노미 적용 전략의 효과성에 대하여 실증적 근거를 제시하였다고 볼 수 있다.
