This study studies how the productivity and societal cooperative relations of One Person Companies (OPC) affects their own management performances. Panel data analyses were conducted based on “Research analysis on One Person Companies”, published by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups from 2013 to 2015. Panel data were estimated via Random Effects Model (RE model) and Fixed Effects Model (FE model) in order to effectively assess the time series management performance after an OPC has been incorporated. A series of tests identified that management performances of an OPC over time are significantly affected by an OPC’s societal cooperative relations with other OPCs, large enterprises and their related entities, universities and research institutes, competing enterprises, and government agencies. With regards to the factors of production for OPCs, full-time employees had negative effects on the overall performances, while contract-based employees had significant positive effects on them. Furthermore, capital increases and technology advancements resulted in positive effects on the management performances. OPCs have high dependence on labor and capital, and limited ability to continuous invest in factors of production. Therefore, this study suggests that various societal cooperative relations are necessary to stable management performances of OPCs.

본 연구는 1인기업의 생산요소와 사회적 협력관계가 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2013년부터 2015년까지 중소기업청의‘1인 기업 실태조사’자료를 활용하여 패널 추정하였다. 1인 기업의 패널 추정으로 1인 기업의 창업 후 시간의 흐름에 따른 경영성과를 효율적으로 분석할 수 있는 확률효과모형(RE model)과 고정효과모형(FE model)을 설정하여 패널 추정하였다. 추정결과, 시간의 흐름에 따른 경영성과는 1인기업의 사회적 협력관계가 타1인기업과의 협력, 대기업연관기업과의 협력, 대학 및 연구소와의 협력, 경쟁기업과의 협력, 정부와의 협력에 따라 유의미한 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 1인기업의 생산요소 중 노동력의 경우 1인 기업 상용근로자는 부정적 유의미한 영향을 나타내는 반면 일용근로자는 긍정적 유의미한 영향을 나타냈다. 또한 자본과 기술이 증가할수록 긍정적인 영향을 나타내었다. 1인 기업은 노동력 및 자본과 기술의존이 높고 생산요소의 지속적 투입에 있어서 한계가 있으므로, 안정적 경영성과를 위해 다양한 사회적 협력관계가 필요함을 시사한다.
