This study was conducted with a view to analyzing the bibliographical description of jaeyo (description) and jonmok (catalogue) in youseoryu of Sagojeonseochongmokjaeyo (Sikuquanshuzongmoktiyao). Both jaeyo and jeonmok of Sagojeonseochongmokjaeyo provides bibliographical explanation in addition to title, volume and literature sources which are basic bibliographical items. The items drawn as bibliographical descriptions are 9 but the investigation was conducted based on division of those items into title and author, version and publication year, and other bibliographical items (literature sources, volume, preface and postscript, organization, and reference). As a result of overall analysis, it was found out that there are lots of historical research on publication year, author, version and volume in the area of bibliographical description. On the other hand, there were found out some differences in some contents of historical research. This seems to be due to the difference in the persons in charge of explanation and the relevant literatures themselves. In addition, the comparison of bibliographical descriptions of jaeyo and jeonmok proves that historical research on 8 items, aside from literature sources, consist of total 121 part of which there are 73 jaeyo (accounting for 60.33%) and 48 jeonmok (39.67%), which means description outnumbers historical researches. In terms of investigation items, there are more historical researches conducted in the order of author, publication year, volume in case of Jaeyo, while in case of jeonmok, more historical researches were conducted in the order of publication year, organization, and version.

이 연구는 ｢사고전서총목제요｣ 자부 유서류를 대상으로 제요와 존목의 서지기술 분석을 목적으로 진행하였다. ｢사고전서총목제요｣의 제요와 존목 모두 기본적인 서지사항인 서명과 권수사항 및 문헌출처 외에 해제를 제공하고 있다. 이에 서지기술로 추출한 항목은 9개이나 이를 서명과 저자, 판본과 발행년 그리고 그 외 서지사항(문헌출처, 권수사항, 판본, 발행년, 서와 발 기록, 체제, 인용서목)의 세 부분으로 구분하여 조사를 진행하였다. 전체적인 분석 결과, 서지기술 조사항목 중 발행년, 저자사항, 판본 및 권수사항에 대한 고증이 많이 이루어졌음을 알 수 있다. 한편, 일부 각 조사항목의 고증 내용 정도의 차이도 발견되었는데, 이는 각 해제 담당자와 문헌 자체의 차이로 발생한 것으 로 볼 수 있다. 또한 ｢사고전서총목제요｣의 제요와 존목의 서지기술 비교 결과, 문헌출처 이외의 8개 항목에 대한 고증은 총 121개 부분으로 그중 제요가 73개(60.33%), 존목이 48개(39.67%)로 제요가 보다 더 고증에 중점을 두고 있었다. 조사항목 중 제요는 저자, 발행년, 권수사항 순으로 고증을 많이 하였고, 존목은 발행년과 체제, 판본 순으로 고증을 하여 고증 대상 항목에서도 차이가 발견되었다.
