This study proposes a new model of universal design for learning traditional dance of intangible cultural heritage by modifying the framework of the apprenticeship education method in the field of traditional dance and attempting a systematic approach from the pedagogical point of view. The study clarifies the educational limitations of the traditional apprenticeship in the field of dance designated as an intangible cultural heritage, and newly suggested a universal education model system in the field of traditional dance based on the cognitive apprentice theory from the constructivist perspective by examining the specificity of the apprentice principle. To this end, open-ended questionnaires and focus group interviews were conducted on 10 education experts of traditional dance to gather diverse opinions. In addition design-Based Research, which focuses on the formative cycle, conducted model development through a virtuous cycle. Was performed. As a result, The limitations of traditional dance education based on traditional apprenticeship were derived from technique - based education, functional evaluation of dance, lack of self - directed learning method, and limitation of universal education. Furthermore, there was the specificity of the apprenticeship principle in the field of traditional dance, the attitude affected from confucianism, spiritual succession and non - systematic professionalism principle. Therefore, this study is based on the theory of cognitive apprenticeship and suppose to construct universal design for traditional dance learning in the process of Modeling as precedence step where teacher show the whole process of traditional dance, Scaffolding in which leaners learn teacher’s cognitive stages in order to solve the problems and Fading after which leaners can solve the problem in oneself initiatively.

이 연구는 무형문화재 지정 전통무용 분야의 도제식 교육 방법의 틀을 수정하기 위하여 교육학적 관점의 체계 적인 접근과 전통무용 교육의 보편적 학습을 위한 체계적인 모델을 제시하는 것에 목적이 있다. 이에 이 연구 는 무형문화재로 지정된 무용 분야의 전통적 도제에서의 교육적 한계점과 특수성을 검토하여 구성주의 관점의 인지적 도제 이론에 기초한 전통무용 분야의 보편적 교육모델 체계를 새롭게 제안하였다. 전통무용 교육전문가 10명에게 개방형 설문과 포커스그룹 인터뷰를 실시하고 설계기반연구(Design-Based Research)를 수행하였다. 연구 결과, 전통적 도제에 기반한 전통무용 교육의 한계점은 기법 중심교육, 춤의 기능적 평가, 자기주도적 학 습 방법의 부재, 보편적 교육의 한계가 도출되었으며, 전통무용 분야의 도제 원리의 특수성으로는 스승과 제자 의 ‘인의예지’의 태도와 정신적 계승, 비체계적인 전문성 원리의 특수성이 존재하였다. 구성주의 관점의 인지적 도제 이론에 기초한 전통무용 분야의 보편적 교육모델은 ‘시연’ 단계(모델링), ‘교수적도움’ 단계(코칭, 스캐폴 딩), ‘교수적도움 중단’ 단계(명료화, 반성적사고, 탐구)의 과정으로 구성되었다.
