This study examines the influences of multicultural awareness, self-identity and self-knowledge among young adults on the crisis of multicultural families centered on international marriage families. To that end, 118 young multicultural families were surveyed in Gyeonggi Province, which has a high distribution of international marriage families. The main results of this study are as follows. First, the self-awareness medium effect of crisis adolescents has been verified in the formation of self-identity. Therefore, multi-cultural family crisis measures are required for schools, homes and local children's centers to raise their awareness. Second, acceptance of multicultural family crisis youth is important in the formation of self-identity. Therefore, there is a need to seek ways to increase the acceptability of programs for crisis youths. Third, aspects of sensitivity and openness among multicultural perceptions are also important in the formation of self-identity. Therefore, there is a need to operate lectures and programs in conjunction with community welfare facilities to promote multicultural awareness among students attending middle and high schools. Therefore, programs that can be used in career, psychological and counseling sites and the need to improve awareness of multiculturalism are required at multicultural welfare sites in order to help youths overcome the difficulties of dual culture in Korean society and grow into the main players of multicultural societies.

본 연구는 국제결혼가정을 중심으로 한 다문화 가정 위기청소년들의 다문화 인식, 자아정체감 그리고 자기지각과의 관계에 따른 영향요인에 대해 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 국제결혼가정 분포가 높은 경기지역에 소재하는 10개 중학교, 고등학교에 재학 중인 다문화 가정 위기청소년 118명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자아정체감 형성에 있어 위기청소년의 자기지각 매개효과가 검증되었다. 따라서 다문화 가정 위기청소년이 가지고 있는 자기지각을 높일 수 있는 방안이 학교, 가정 그리고 지역아동센터 등에 요구된다. 둘째, 자아정체감 형성에 있어서 다문화 가정 위기청소년의 수용성이 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 위기청소년들을 위한 프로그램 개발시에 수용성을 높일 수 있는 방안을 모색할 필요성이 제기된다. 셋째, 자아정체감 형성에 있어 다문화 인식 중 민감성과 개방성의 측면도 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 이에 중·고교에 재학 중인 학생들을 대상으로 다문화 인식을 고양할 수 있는 강연 및 프로그램을 지역사회 복지시설 등과 연계해서 운영할 필요성이 있다. 따라서 한국사회에서 다문화 가정 위기청소년들이 이중문화라는 어려움을 극복하고 다문화 사회의 주역으로 성장 할 수 있도록 진로 및 심리·상담현장에서 실제적으로 활용 할 수 있는 프로그램과 다문화 인식개선의 필요성이 다문화복지 현장에서 요구된다.
