- This article deepens in the study of the origins of the concept of the violence, especially, in “The Part About the Crimes” of the novel 2666. Criticism has indicated, in the main, as source of the violence the historical and social context that he had to live and to know Bolaño during his life: the dictatorships of the Cone South, that of Chile especially; the Nazism, the women’s murders of the North of Mexico, between others. But we will verify the hypothesis of which the above mentioned concept of the violence also has its origin in Bolaño’s readings that also deal with the problem of the social evil and the violence. The Bolaño’s readings that we have selected for our study are the works of Georg Büchner, Hans Henny Jahnn, Osvaldo Lamborghini. and César Aira. From this direction of research, we can affirm that Roberto Bolaño brings together in his work the tradition of Spanish-American literature to add it to the universal context of the writing compromised to the human being. This human being who has been confronted with the transgression of the moral norm, a transgression that has brought as a consequence a banal conception of the evil, of the pain and of the death, concepts already lacking in a center and in transcendental foundation.

- Este artículo profundiza en el estudio de los orígenes del concepto de la violencia, en especial, en “La parte de los crímenes” de la novela 2666. La crítica ha señalado en su mayoría como fuente de la violencia el contexto histórico y social que le tocó vivir y conocer a Bolaño durante su vida: las dictaduras del Cono Sur, la de Chile en especial; el nazismo, los asesinatos de mujeres del norte de México, entre otros. Pero comprobaremos la hipótesis de que dicho concepto de la violencia también tiene su origen en las lecturas de Bolaño que tratan igualmente sobre el problema del mal social y de la violencia. Las lecturas de Bolaño que hemos seleccionado para nuestro estudio son las obras de Georg Büchner, Hans Henny Jahnn, Osvaldo Lamborghini y de César Aira. Desde esta dirección de investigación, podemos afirmar que Roberto Bolaño reúne en su obra la tradición de la literatura hispanoamericana para sumarla al contexto universal de la escritura comprometida con el ser humano, el cual se ha visto enfrentado a la transgresión de la norma moral, transgresión que ha traído como consecuencia una concepción banal del mal, del dolor y de la muerte, conceptos ya carentes de un centro y de fundamento trascendental.
