This writing divides Oshiro Tatshiro's into two sections and analyzes the production of meaning within them. This novel is accusing the fictional world of the US and Okinawa relations of the beauty good friendship(美 琉 助善), which is realized through the literary device of change of narrative point of view. First, the novel shows the fictional world of the US military through the first person. The main character is an Okinawan person, but he feels psychological stability through being incorporated into their world. However, the repetition of the trauma which appears repeatedly in the works implies that the incorporation into their world is a fiction, and that the main character still exists as a batter in the world. Next, the narrative point in the second section changes to the second person, so that the reader's gaze is separated from the main character. Through this separation, readers will be able to interrogate the protagonist, and will be able to objectively track the figure of the main character searching for Okinawan identity. Finally, the protagonist is separated from the fictional world of beauty good friendship through the rape of her daughter. At this point, the protagonist has a full-fledged relationship with Ogawa and Ssun (grandchildren). The novels present complexity between the US, China, Japan (mainland) and Okinawa through their interaction and dialogue. It is hoped that research on Oshiro Tatshiro's will not be limited to the relationship between the United States and Okinawa, and that more diverse research will be conducted in terms of material and contents.

이 글은 오시로 다쓰히로의 『칵테일파티』 를 전장과 후장으로 나누어 그 안에 나타나는 의미의 생산 작용을 분석한다. 이 소설은 미류친선(美琉親善)이라는 미 국과 오키나와 관계의 허구적 세계를 고발하고 있는데, 이는 서술 시점의 변화라 는 문학적 장치를 통해 실현된다. 먼저 소설은 1인칭 시점을 통해 미군이 이루어 놓은 허구의 세계를 보여준다. 주인공은 오키나와인이지만 그들의 세계에 편입됨 을 통해 심리적 안정을 느낀다. 그러나 작품에 반복적으로 나타나는 트라우마의 재생은 그들의 세계로의 편입이 허구이며 또한 그 세계 안에서 주인공은 여전히 타자로 존재함을 암시한다. 다음으로 후장에서 서술 시점이 2인칭으로 변하게 되 는데, 이를 통해 독자의 시선은 주인공과 분리된다. 이러한 분리를 통해 독자는 주 인공을 심문할 수 있게 되고, 오키나와인의 정체성을 찾아 나가는 주인공의 모습 을 객관적으로 추적할 수 있게 된다. 마지막으로 주인공은 딸의 강간 사건을 통해 미류친선이라는 허구적 세계에서 분리되어 나오게 된다. 이 지점에서 주인공은 오 가와(小川), 쑨(孫)과의 본격적 관계를 맺게 되는데, 소설은 그들의 교류와 대화를 통해 미국, 중국, 일본(본토), 오키나와 간의 복잡성을 제시하고 있다. 오시로 다쓰히로의 『칵테일파티』 연구가 미국과 오키나와의 관계 중심에 머물지 않고, 소재⋅ 내용적으로 더욱 다채로운 연구가 진행되길 기대한다.
