This study was conducted to develop a Family Problems Solution-Focused Education and verify its effectiveness. This program assumes that a change in one of the family members affects the change in the whole family system. called ‘ripple effect’. Through this program, carers will change the way they focused the problem on their children, and be willing to take a new role as caregivers for their children in order to avoid a recurrence of their child’s problem behavior in the future. In order to verify the effectiveness of the Family Problems Solution-Focused Education, we applied the education programs developed in this study to the parents educations in A and S cities. According to the analysis of pre-postal changes, 47 people who participated in the education showed their improved self-esteem, depression, subjective well-being and psychological well-being after education than before. On the basis of these results, we made some suggestions to improve effectiveness of the parental education of juvenile justice.

본 연구는 가족문제 해결중심 보호자특별교육 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과를 검증하기 위해 수행 되었다. 가족문제 해결중심 보호자특별교육이란 해결중심접근 치료 기법의 목적과 원리를 보호자특별 교육에 적용한 교육프로그램으로, 가족구성원 중 한 명이 변화하면 가족 체계 전체의 변화에 영향을 미친다는 물결효과(ripple effect)를 전제로 한다. 이 교육프로그램을 통해 보호자들은 기존에 문제의 초점을 자녀에게만 두었던 시각에서 벗어나 향후 자녀의 문제행동 재발을 방지하기 위해 자녀에게 보 호자로서의 새로운 역할을 수행하고자 하는 의지를 가지게 될 것으로 기대하였다. 가족문제 해결중심 보호자특별교육 효과를 검증하기 위해 A시와 S시의 보호자특별교육에 본 프로그램을 적용한 결과. 교 육에 참여한 47명의 자존감, 우울, 주관적 웰빙 및 심리적 웰빙 수준이 교육 전에 비해 교육 후에 모두 향상되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 더욱 내실 있는 보호자특별교육의 운영을 위한 제언을 하였다.
