The purpose of this study is to analyze the change process and activity performance of the storytelling picture book creative education program for multicultural youths at the Multicultural Family Support Center G. Through this analysis, we tried to examine the new direction of multicultural youth education program. To this end, we identified limitations of existing multicultural youth programs and searched for a foundation for promoting new programs that reflect the needs of multicultural youth. This study also aims to support multicultural understanding and identity of multicultural youth in the future through the operation of the storytelling education program from 2013 to 2017. In addition, the necessity of developing educational program using storytelling education was confirmed. In addition, it was confirmed that multicultural families with cultural diversity are required to expand cultural arts education programs in order to utilize their strengths and train them as future global talents. The results suggest that the storytelling education program can help the multicultural youth to establish their identity through multicultural knowledge formation, multicultural attitude formation, and multicultural behavior practice. Furthermore, it seems to be a new educational alternative that goes beyond the existing educational programs for multicultural families.

본 연구는 G시 다문화가족지원센터에서 다문화 청소년을 대상으로 진행한 스토리텔 링 그림책 창작 교육 프로그램의 변화 과정과 활동성과를 분석한 것이다. 이러한 분석을 통해 향후 다문화 청소년 교육 프로그램의 새로운 방향성을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위 해 기존 다문화 청소년들을 대상으로 하는 프로그램들이 가진 한계점을 확인하고 다문 화 청소년들의 요구를 반영한 새로운 프로그램의 추진을 위한 기반을 모색하였다. 또한 이 연구는 2013년부터 2017년까지 진행된 스토리텔링 교육프로그램 운영 결과를 통해 향후 다문화 청소년들의 다문화 이해와 정체성 확립을 지원하고자 했다. 아울러 스토리 텔링 교육을 활용한 교육 프로그램 개발 필요성을 확인하였다. 또한 문화적 다양성을 지 닌 다문화가정 청소년들이 자신들의 강점을 살려 미래 글로벌 인재로 양성하기 위해서 는 문화예술교육 프로그램의 확대가 요구된다는 점을 확인할 수 있었다. 연구 결과, 문화예술 스토리텔링 교육프로그램이 다문화가정 청소년들에게 다문화적 지식 구성, 다문화적 태도 형성, 다문화적 행동 실천을 통한 정체성 확립을 도울 수 있다 는 것을 시사하고 있다. 나아가 지금까지 실행해 온 다문화가정 청소년을 위한 기존 교 육 프로그램의 한계를 뛰어넘는 새로운 교육적 대안이 될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
