This thesis aims to study on The Daily Activity of South & North Korean Elementary School. On viewing of education systems in South & North Korean Elementary School, South & North Korean people plan a strategy that can strengthen their ideology. South Korean elementary school offers students curriculum for liberal to make them dream for individualism. North Korean elementary school, on the other hand, establishes communist curriculum to instill their ideology to elementary school students. The conclusions of this study are as follow. First, South & North Korea people have emphasized state ideology for political stability. Thus, South & North korean elementary school have political education curriculum to continue their ruling position. Second, South korean elementary school strengthens individualism through democratic education system. And North korean elementary school enforces group education for their political philosophy called "Juche". Namely, "Juche" is the ideology that north korea indoctrinates its people to maintain the ruling hierarchy. North Korean rulers utilize by them as an ideological weapon to justify its dictatorship on the domestic scene. So, South & North Korean have not the same curriculum even if name of the curriculum is like this; Korean Language Education, English, Mathematics and etc. Third, North korean elementary education allots many time for hero-worshipping the dynasty of Kim's government. These are the points to be difficult to unify South Korea & North Korea. So, South Korean people and government make an ceaseless effort for unification education. Therefor Unification education will make South Korea and North Korea closer.

이 논문은 남북한 초등학교의 일상적인 생활에 대한 연구이다. 남북한 초등학교 교육 체계를 개관하면, 남 북한 사람들은 각자의 이데올로기를 강화하는 데 노력을 기함을 알 수 있다. 대한민국은 개인주의를 강조할 자유를 교육과정에서 강화하고 있다. 반면에 북한은 소학교 학생들에게 그 들의 공산주의 이데올로기를 주입하려고 노력한다. 이 논문의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 남북한 사람들은 정치적 안정을 위해 국가 이데올로기를 강조해 왔다. 그래서 남북한 초등학교는 권 력 기반을 강화하게 하는 정치교육을 지속하여 왔다. 둘째, 남한 초등교육은 민주적 교육 체제를 통하여 개인주의를 강화하여 왔다. 그리고 북한 초등학교는 주체 철학이라는 정치 교육에 집단 교육을 세뇌하고 있다. 소위 주체는 국민 주 민들에게 통치 위계를 수용하도록 하는 북한 특유의 교조적 이념이다. 그래서 북한 교육 당 국은 세밀한 측면에서도 독재를 정당화하는 이념적 무기로 사용하고 있다. 그래서 남북 교 육 당국은 국어, 영어, 수학 등을 비슷한 교과를 배우지만 그 교육과정은 전혀 동일하지 않 다. 셋째, 북한 초등학교 교육은 김일성 왕조의 정부를 영웅시하는 많은 부분을 할애하고 있다. 이것이 남과 북의 통합을 어렵게 하는 중대한 사안이다. 그래서 대한민국 국민과 정부는 통 일교육에 대한 끊임없는 노력을 경주하여야 한다. 그래서 통일교육은 남북한이 더 가까워 지도록 구성되어야 할 것이다.
