This paper examines the Otherness who intervene to deification the hero in the Korean and Chinese Founding Myths. In the founding myths, a new existence is revealed dialectically through the union with the Other, which is a renewed existence with the subject being an extended existence. There are two ways of combining the I-subject and the Other-subject in the founding myths. In the case of constitutional mythology, which is first ordered in chaos, it is combined with the Other through sexual intercourse. Through the union of two subjects, the deification is formed. At this time, the key mechanism for forming the Godhead is the deification possessed by the Other. The subject who acquires the Godhead is thus recognized as having authority to confer order to chaos and to maintain order. Another is the founding myth that dismantles the existing order and builds a new order. At this time, it goes beyond sexuality to divine union. In this case it is genealogical / pedigree divinity inherent in the other, not the other. The combination with the Other has overcome the simple sexual intercourse and symbolized the internalization of the divinity, reflecting the complexity of narratives that dismantle the existing order and establish a new order.

이 논문은 중국과 한국의 건국신화에서 영웅을 신격화화기 위해 개입하는 타자의 특성을 살펴보고 있다. 건국신화에서는 타자와의 결합을 통해 변증법적으로 새로운 존재가 나타나는데, 이 존재는 주체가 연장된 존재이면서 신격으로 갱신된 존재이다. 건국신화에서 나-주체와 타자-주체가 결합하는 방식은 두 가지로 제시할 수 있다. 혼돈 상태에서 최초로 질서가 부여되는 건국신화의 경우 성적(性的) 결합 방식을 통해 타자와 결합한다. 두 주체의 결합을 통해 신격이 형성되는데, 이때 신격을 형성하는 핵심 기제는 타자가 가진 신성이다. 이렇게 신격을 획득한 주체는 혼돈에 질서를 부여 하고 그 질서를 유지하는 권위를 지니도록 인정된 존재가 된다. 또 하나, 기존 질서를 해체하고 새로운 질서를 구축하는 건국신화도 있다. 이때는 결합 방식 성적인 차원을 넘어 성적(聖的) 결합에 이른다. 이 경우에 타자 자체가 아니 라 타자에게 내재된 계보적/혈통적인 신성이다. 이렇게 타자와의 결합이 단순한 성적 결합을 극복하고 신성함을 내면화한 상징성을 띤 것은 기성 질서를 해체하고 새로운 질서를 구축하는 서사의 복잡성을 반영한 것이다.
