As ICT technology and traffic develops globally, people from many countries are moving from one country to another, and interest in other countries and cultures and interest in English as an international language are increasing. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of 5 factors with innate influence on learning motivation through specific cultural interest. According to this study, openness among cultural factors has a statistically significant effect on cultural history, transportation, clothing and shelter, and affinity among travel factor. Cultural history factors were influenced by factors of learning motivation, factors of travel hobby such as integration, instrument, attitude factor, and political economy factors. According to the analysis of this study, openness among personality traits can be developed by recognition, reflection, and environment. Therefore, it is also important to design a learning environment that can develop easily and openness of personality traits . This study is limited to the first grade students of one university for English learners. In the future, various studies will be possible through research subjects, countries, and learning languages.

세계적으로 ICT기술과 교통이 발달하면서 많은 나라의 사람들이 국가간 이동을 하고 있으며, 다른 국가와 문화에 대한 관심과 국제어로서 영어에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에 서는 선천적인 영향이 큰 성격 5요인이 특정 문화적관심을 매개로 학습동기에 미치는 영향을 구 조방정식으로 분석하였다. 본 연구에 의하면 성격 5요인 중 개방성이 문화적영역들 중에 문화역 사와 교통의식주에, 친화성은 여행취미요인에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 그리고 문화역사요인은 학습동기요인중 도구요인에, 여행취미요인은 통합, 도구, 태도 요인에, 정치경제요 인은 통합요인에 양의 영향을 미치고 있었다. 본 연구의 분석에 의하면 성격특성 중 개방성은 인 식, 반성, 환경 등에 의해 개발될 수 있기에 성격특성 들 중 특히 개방성과 친화성을 개발하고 쉽 게 증진될 수 있는 학습환경을 설계하는 것 또한 중요한 것으로 사료된다. 본 연구는 1개 대학교 의 1학년생의 영어학습자들을 대상으로 한 것이라는 제한점을 갖는다. 향후 보다 다양한 배경의 연구대상자들과 국가, 학습언어를 통해 다양한 연구가 가능할 것이다.
