The purpose of this study is to investigate the changes in the multicultural acceptivity of Childcare teachers who are in the course of a multicultural education that has been commenced for the Childcare teachers to enhance their multicultural acceptivity. For this, lectures have been prepared by constituting basic concepts of multiculture, and qualitative study methods have been selected. All the Childcare teachers who were selected as the subjects had no experience in receiving multicultural education in the past, and are currently working in private daycare center located within the city of Pyeongtaek. The effects of the education are as follow. First, the subject Childcare teachers came to know and understand the concept of multiculture. Second, they came to learn their own prejudice and stereotype while studying the concept of multiculture. Third, they showed an introspection on the prejudice and stereotype they have had so far. Fourth, it was found that both the parents from multicultural backgrounds and those who are not should all participate in the multicultural education as subjects.

본 연구는 보육교사의 다문화수용성 향상을 위한 다문화 교육을 보육교사에게 실시하고 다문화교육 실시 과정 중에 나타나는 보육교사들의 다문화수용성의 변화를 알아보고자 하는 데 목적이 있으며 그를 위해 다문화개념의 기본적인 내용을 구성하여 수업하였고 질적연구 방법을 선택하여 연구를 진행하였다. 연 구대상으로 선정된 보육교사들은 모두 다문화교육을 받은 경험이 없었으며 평 택시 관내 민간어린이집에 근무하고 있다. 교육 효과를 보면 보육교사들은 첫 째, 다문화에 대한 개념을 알게 되었고 둘째, 다문화에 대한 개념을 알게 되면 서 본인들이 가지고 있는 편견과 고정관념을 알게 되었고, 셋째, 본인들의 편 견과 고정관념에 대해 반성하는 모습을 보였으며, 넷째, 다문화 교육은 다문화 부모, 비다문화부모 모두가 대상이 되어 실시되어야 한다는 인식을 할 수 있었다.
