The purpose of this study is survey on the reality of interracial families in a view of their korean husbands in Gyeonggi-do and to seek support policies for them. The subjects in this study were 133 korean husbands who married interracial family-immigrant women and lived in Gyeonggi-do. The survey focuses on the whole of marriage life, fathers' awareness on their children, and their needs, demands for social welfare, paternal involvement in child rearing, parenting stress and stress coping. Firstly, interracial families korean husbands most strongly hold patriarchal value of family values, and experienced the most terrible stress in economical issues. The highest conflict between interracial families korean husbands and wife was aroused because of communication, the next because of economic difficulties. Secondly, there are statistically a meaningful difference in parenting stress according to korean husband’ age and income. Thirdly, there were significantly negative correlations between korean husband’ paternal involvement in child rearing and parenting stress. Fourthly, there were significantly positive correlations between korean husband’ emotion-oriented stress coping and burden on paternal role.

본 연구는 경기도 지역의 국제결혼가족의 실태를 파악하고 이들에 대한 정 책지원방안을 모색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 경기도에 거주하며 현재 외국인 부인과 함께 살 고 있는 한국인 남편 133명이다. 조사내용은 한국인 남편의 결혼생활전반에 관한 인식, 복지욕구에 관한 실태 등이다. 분 석결과 첫째, 한국인 남편이 가지고 있는 가족가치관 중 가부장적 가치관이 가장 높았고, 경제적 문제로 인한 스트레스를 가장 심각하게 경험했음이 나 타났다. 부인과의 사이에서 일어나는 갈등은 부인과의 의사소통, 경제적 어 려움 순으로 많았다. 둘째, 한국인 남편의 나이와 월 소득에 따라 양육스트 레스에는 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 한국인 남편의 양육참여도와 양육스트레스는 부적 상관이 있었다. 넷째, 한국인 남편의 정서 중심적 스트레스 대처방식과 부모역할에 대한 부담은 정적 상관이 있었다.
