"熙朝軼事" is a biography of the middle class compiled by 高宗3 years (1866). The book was not written by Lee Kyung-min himself, but was cited among existing books. At the end of each biography the source was identified. Most of them were transcribed in summary, but they also found more of their own. In this part, we can see what ritual Lee had in editing the book. According to the study, Lee was influenced by the "天機論", "discovery of individuals" and "openness of ideas" of his contemporaries. "HuijoIlsa" clearly confirmed that it was written at the level of supplement. Looking at the editorial features of "HuijoIlsa," there are many examples of compaction, removal of human names, removal of family clan and region, removal of the original author's personal experiences or feelings, removal of the editorial, and supplement of the "Ihyaungkyunmoonrock" Looking at the history of loyal characters, 'Huijo Ilsa' is differentiated in the past of the characters involved in 'Loyalty.' "Hijo Ilsa" actively participated in the role of a person who was not included in "Ihyaungkyunmoonrock," and devoted to his country. In addition, even if he is a legitimate person, his patriotism is additionally recorded to clarify where Lee Kyung-min's ceremony for entering the "HuijoIlsa" is.

『熙朝軼事』는 高宗 3년(1866) 李慶民이 편찬한 중인층의 전기물이다. 『熙朝軼事』는 이경민이 직접 쓴 것이 아니라 기존의 서적 가운데 인용한 것이다. 각 전기의 끝에 그 출처가 밝혀져 있다. 대부분은 본문을 요약하여 옮겼지만 자신이 직접 더한 부분도 발견하였다. 이 부분에서 이경민이 어떤 의식을 가지고 『熙朝軼事』를 편집하였는지 알 수 있다. 연구결과, 이경민은 당대인들의 “天機論”, “개인의 발견”, “사상의 개방성”에 영향을 받았다. 『희조일사』는 『이향견문록』의 補遺的 차원에서 집필되었음이 분명함을 확인하였다. 『희조일사』의 편집방식 특징을 찾아보면, 크게 내용의 압축, 인명의 삭제, 본관과 지역 삭제, 원저자의 개인적 경험이나 느낌 삭제, 논찬 삭제, 『이향견문록󰡕의 補遺를 들 수 있다. 충성과 관련된 인물의 전을 살펴보면 『희조일사』는 忠과 관련된 인물들의 전에 있어서 차별화된 모습을 보인다. 『희조일사』는 『이향견문록』에는 빠진, 국가를 위해 헌신한 인물을 적극적으로 입전하였다. 또 기존에 입전된 인물이라 할지라도 그의 애국적 행위를 추가적으로 기록함으로써 이경민의 『희조일사』 입전의식이 어디에 있는지를 분명히 하고 있다.
