This study was designed to analyze the present status of employment of dance majors and suggest implications. For this study, the data of Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey(GOMS) from 2007 to 2015 were employed. The study results are as follows. First, the employment rate and the ratio of paid employees have rose, but the ratio of permanent employees, the ratio of major congruence, and the ratio of educational level congruence have declined. Second, the employment has increased in the position of education and natural science·social science research, and in the position of culture, arts, design, and broadcasting and in the position of business and sales. Third, musicology got the highest major satisfaction from dance majors and it was followed by instrumental music and dance. Among the related licenses, GTQ(computer graphics license) was a top priority and culture and arts education instructor’s license came second. This study provides the following implications. First, there is a need to analyze of demand-supply decision factors in the Dance Sector Labor Market. Second, establishment of system for professional world specialization in dance field. Third, establishment and systematization of qualification system.

이 연구는 무용전공자의 고용 현황을 분석하고 시사점을 제시하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 한국고용정보원의 대졸자직업이동경로조사(GOMS; Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey), 한국교육개발원 교육통계의 2차 자료를 활용하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 4년제 대학 무용전공자의 경우 고용률, 임금근로자비율은 상승추세이나 정 규직비율, 전공일치비율, 교육수준일치비율은 하락추세로 나타났다. 둘째, 직업분포는 4년제 대학의 경우, 교육 및 자연과학·사회과학연구 관련직, 전문대학은 문화·예술·디자인·방송 관련직, 영업 및 판매 관련직에 증가추세 를 보였다. 셋째, 취업에 도움이 된 자격증은 4년제 대학의 경우 GTQ(컴퓨터그래픽스자격증), MOS자격증, 전 문대학의 경우 생활체육지도사, 미용사, 피부미용사의 순으로 나타났다. 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 무용분야 노동시장의 수요-공급 결정요인 분석 둘째, 무용분야 직업세계 전문화를 위한 체제 구축 셋째, 무용분야 자격제도의 확립으로 제시되었다. 이는 무용전공자의 직업진로 지도와 무용분야 안정된 일자리 확대 방향 수립에 기여할 것이다.
