This study is a study on how to cope with the opportunity and crisis of the new era of the fourth industrial revolution and how to respond to the coming century as an advanced power group. To this end, we will explore the development trends of military science and technology in the era of the 4th industrial revolution , analyze the military theory and new concept of future battlefield operation, and based on this, establish the concept of joint operations, and suggests the concept of ground operations to support the idea. First, the pace of the fourth industrial revolution will come at a much faster pace than we think. Therefore, our army should hasten to construct a hyper-connectivity and super-intelligence weapon system in accordance with the 4th Industrial Revolution era, and to develop the operational concept to operate it effectively. In this study, the concept of Joint Operation is set as ‘decapitation of all depth based on hyper-connectivity super-intelligence’, and the concept of ground operation is proposed as ‘multi-domain operations on decapitation of all depth based on hyper-connectivity super-intelligence’, and the operational concept of Second Operational Command is set as ‘swarming operations based on the integrated defense operations’. In order to effectively cope with the future threats of our military, I think it is necessary to set up the operational concept as above and construct the combat power to implement it.

본 연구는 4차 산업혁명이라는 새로운 시대의 기회와 위기를 어떻게 슬기롭게 대처하고 선진 강군(强軍)으로서 다가올 세기를 맞이할 것인가에 대한 연구이다. 이를 위해 4차 산업혁명시대의 군사과학기술의 발전 동향을 탐구하고, 미래 전장운용에 대한 군사이론과 새로운 개념을 분석하고, 이를 기초로 합동작전개념을 설정한 후에 이를 지원하기 위한 지상작전개념을 제시하였다. 우선 4차 산업혁명의 진행속도는 우리가 생각하는 것보다 훨씬 빠른 속도로 다가 올 것이 다. 그러므로 우리 군(軍)도 서둘러 4차 산업혁명 시대에 부합된 초연결·초지능형의 무기체 계를 건설하고, 이를 효과적으로 운용할 수 있는 작전개념을 발전시켜야 한다. 본 연구에서 는 합동작전개념을 ‘초연결·초지능성 기반의 전 종심 마비전’으로 설정하고, 지상작전개념은 ‘초연결․초지능성 기반의 전 종심 마비 하 전영역작전’으로 제시하고, 2작전사의 작전개념 은 ‘민․관․군 통합방위 기반의 스워밍(swarming)작전’으로 설정하였다. 우리 군은 미래의 위협을 효과적으로 대처하기 위해 위와 같은 작전개념을 설정하고 이를 구현할 수 있는 전투력을 건설해야 할 것으로 생각된다.
