There is an increasing interest in overseas trip by globalization, rising income, and baby boom generation due to the development of information technology in the 21st century. For this reason, the size of air transport market gradually increased and the air transport market in Korea has expanded at an alarming rate by the emergence of low-cost carrier. The competition rate for airline service is being escalated due to the increasing interest in jobs related to airline service and increase in the number of related departments. For this reason, many students are making various preparations as improving their English ability and studying abroad but they experience various problems in the process of entering into society because classes are progressed around theory instead of practical affairs, and importance of career preparation behavior is increasing as an alternative to overcome this problem. Therefore, this study intends to investigate the effects of perceived career barrier by university students majoring in airline service on satisfaction about career education, career self-efficacy, and employment preparation behavior. According to the research result, it was identified that lack of interest, lack of career information, career instability, and economic instability make negative effect on satisfaction about career education, and all factors of satisfaction about career education make positive effect on career self-efficacy. Also, according to the result of investigating the effects of career self-efficacy on career preparation behavior, it was identified that job information, goal selection, future plan, and problem solving make positive effect on career preparation behavior. It is considered that the research result would be helpful to present ways for university students majoring in airline service to establish strategic operational plan for career education for successful entry into society and for increasing competitiveness through effective career preparation behavior.

21세기 정보기술의 발달로 인한 세계화, 소득의 증가 그리고 베이비붐 세대 진입 등으로 인해 해외 여행에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 이러한 이유로 항공운송서비스에 대한 수요가 증가하게 되었으며, 국내에서도 저비용 항공사의 출현 등으로 항공운송시장의 규모는 급속도로 확장되었다. 또한 항공서비 스에 관련된 직업에 대한 관심 증가와 관련 학과의 증가로 인해 항공사 채용 경쟁률은 더욱 높아지고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 이유로 많은 학생들이 영어실력, 해외유학 등 다양한 준비를 하고 있으나, 실무 중심이 아닌 이론 중심의 수업으로 진행되기 때문에 사회진출을 하는 과정에서 다양한 문제들을 겪게 되며 이를 극복하기 위한 대안으로 진로준비행동의 중요성이 증가되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 항공 서비스 전공 대학생의 진로장벽 지각이 진로교육 만족도, 진로 자기효능감 그리고 진로준비행동에 미 치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 한다. 연구 결과 대학생의 진로장벽 중 흥미부족, 직업정보부족, 진로불안정, 경제적 불안 요인이 진로교육 만족도에 부정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 진로교육 만족도는 모든 요인이 진로 자기효능감에 긍정적인 영 향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 진로 자기효능감이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향관계를 살펴본 결 과 직업정보, 목표선택, 미래계획, 문제해결이 진로준비행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났 다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 향후 항공서비스 전공 대학생들이 성공적인 사회진출을 위한 진로교육에 대한 전략적 운영계획을 수립하고, 효율적인 진로준비행동을 통해 경쟁력을 높일 수 있는 방안을 제시 하는데 있어 도움이 될 것이라고 사료된다.
