Social support and career preparedness behaviors showed a significant positive correlation, and social support, planned happenstance skills, career decision self-efficacy showed a positive correlation. Second, it was found that the validation analysis of the model was performed to verify the research model in order to examine the mediating effects of planned happenstance skills and career decision self-efficacy in social support and career preparation behavior. The results of the analysis of the research model and the competing model using the structural equation model showed that the research model was more appropriate than the competing model. Third, as a result of verifying the mediating effects of planned happenstance skills and career decision self-efficacy in the relationship between social support and career preparation behavior, the mediated effects of planned happenstance skills and career decision self-efficacy social support and career preparation behavior were completely mediated. The planned happenstance skills had a dual mediating effect in mediating career decision self-efficacy in the relationship between social support and career preparation behavior. Based on the results, implications and limitations of the study and directions for further research were discussed.
