This study deals with the change of production space in China’s automobile industry. The purpose of this study is to define the functions and mutual activities of various network actors through analysis of the industrial space formed in the process of Chinese auto industry and to derive mechanisms for the formation of industrial spaces. The automobile industry in China has closely related to the global production system, and has been greatly influenced by the transitional characteristics of the Chinese government. Therefore, this study defined the characteristics of production space through the interaction between foreign companies and various local actors. Each actor forming the production network is classified into global actors, local institution actors and regional asset actors. And they showed that they form a distinctive industrial space through strategic coupling.

본 연구는 중국의 자동차 산업 분야에서 생산 공간의 변화를 주제로 다룬다. 중국 자동차 산업의 형성과정에서 나타난 산업공간 분석을 통해 다양한 행위자들의 기능과 상호활동을 규정하여 산업공간 형성에 대한 메커니즘을 도출하는 것이 연구의 목적이 다. 현재 중국의 자동차 산업은 글로벌 생산 시스템과 긴밀한 연관관계가 있으면서, 정부의 영향이 크게 드러난다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 한국 부품기업들을 중심으로 생 산 네트워크를 형성하는 각 행위자들을 글로벌 행위자와 로컬 제도 행위자와 지역자산 행위자로 구분하였고, 이들이 전략적으로 결합을 통해 차별적 특성의 산업공간을 형성 하는지를 밝히고자 하였다.
