Children with cerebral palsy have posture, oral sensation, exercise, and structural problems related to feeding. Feeding interventions for children with cerebral palsy include sensory exercise, postural control, and application of tools to promote oral movement. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of feeding intervention on children with cerebral palsy and to suggest the direction of intervention for cerebral palsy children with feeding disorder. In this study, the literature was searched through the keywords related to eating intervention of children with cerebral palsy, and a total of 11 articles were selected according to the subject, intervention, and results of the literature. The selected 11 chapters were divided into the categories of oral approach, posture approach, and oral appliance according to the method of intervention. In the oral exercise approach, the tongue, lips, cheeks, and chewing related to the oral function of the child were approached. In the posture exercise approach, the stability of the child was secured through the movement of the child's trunk or head, A study examining the changes in oral function in the mouth was selected. In the oral approach, we examined the accessibility of the child's mouth movement through the Castillo-Morales Device, the Innsbruck sensorimotor activator and regulator (ISMAR). Feeding is an essential work area for living. Occupational therapists need a multifaceted approach to eating and have access to eating cerebral palsy children through detailed therapeutic intervention. Food intake into the mouth is a specialty that requires a high level of expertise. Therefore, occupational therapists are increasingly demanding professional academic information related to feeding interventions. Based on the present study, occupational therapists will provide children with cerebral palsy children with an understanding of various aspects of feeding intervention and a direction for appropriate therapeutic intervention.

먹기란 인간이 생존하고, 활동하며, 성장하는데 필수적인 요소이다. 뇌성마비 아동의 75~86%에서 먹기와 관련된 장애가 발생하며, 자세, 구강감각, 운동, 구조적 문제 등을 가지고 있다. 뇌성마비 아동의 먹기 중재로는 감각 운동적 접근, 자세 조절적 접근, 구강 운동을 증진시키기 위한 도구 적용 등의 방법이 있다. 본 연구는 뇌성마비 아동을 대상으로 이루어 진 먹기 중재 연구를 살펴봄으로써 임상에서 치료계획 시 도움이 될 수 있는 정보를 제공하고, 먹기 장애를 가진 뇌성마비 아동의 중재에 대한 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구의 방법은 뇌성마비 아동의 먹기 중재와 관련된 키워드를 통해 문헌을 검색하고, 문헌의 대상, 중재, 결과에 따라 총 11편의 문헌을 선정하였다. 선정된 문헌 11편은 중재의 방법에 따라 구강 감 각 운동 접근, 자세 운동적 접근, 구강 기기 적용의 분류로 나누어 제시하였다. 구강 감각 운동적 접근에서는 아동의 구강 기능과 관련된 혀, 입술, 볼, 씹기 등의 접근이 이루어졌고, 자세 운동적 접근에서는 아동의 체간 또는 머리의 움직임을 통해 아동의 안정성을 확보함으로써 구강기능의 변화를 살펴본 논문이 선정되었다. 구강 기기(Oral appliance) 접근에서는 Castillo-Morales Device, Innsbruck sensorimotor activator and regulator(ISMAR)를 통한 아동의 구강 움직임에 대한 접근을 살펴보았다. 먹기는 삶을 영위하기 위해 필수적인 작업수행영역이다. 작업치료사는 먹기에 대한 다각적인 접 근이 필요하며, 세분화된 치료적 중재를 통해 뇌성마비 아동의 먹기에 대한 접근을 해야 한다. 구강으로의 음식섭취는 고도 의 전문 지식을 필요로 하는 전문 분야이기 때문에 작업치료사의 먹기 중재와 관련된 전문적인 학술적 정보에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 본 연구를 기반으로 하여 작업치료사는 뇌성마비 아동을 대상으로 먹기 중재의 다양한 분야에 대한 이해와 적절한 치료적 중재를 위한 방향을 제공하려 한다.
