The purpose of this study is to classify the school size into four and to find out the model for the appropriation of education expenditure - appropriation by school scale using the school accounting data (EDSS) of elementary school. In the present study, it was found out that the cost of education needed to operate the school in the future is calculated by exploring the revenue and expenditure accounting subject variables that affect the education expenses of the unit school among the expenditures secured and secured by the unit schools. However, as the school accounting data structure changed from single bookkeeping to double bookkeeping, the study model and the competition model were designed to reflect different data structures for each year, and an appropriate prediction model based on school accounting revenue- artificial neural network analysis was compared and presented. As a result of the analysis, different educational expenditure predictive models were selected for each school, revenues and expenditure subjects, and regression predictions for each subject were calculated. Based on these results, it is suggested that multiple linear regression analysis and artificial neural network analysis method should be applied in analyzing the unit school education cost in the future, and it should be suggested that the cost of adequate education per student and expenditure size do not increase according to the size of the school. In the future, it will be necessary to continue research to calculate the appropriate education cost per student through the study of standard education cost.

본 연구는 초등학교 학교회계 데이터(EDSS)를 활용하여, 학교규모를 4개로 유형화하고 학교규모별 적정교육비 세입-세출 예측모델을 탐색하는데 목적을 두었다. 현재 단위학교가 확보하고 지출하는 비용 중에서 단위학교의 교육비에 영향을 미치는 세입-세출 회계과목 변수를 탐색하고 추정 모형을 도출한 후, 이를 통해 향후 학교운영에 필요한 교육비용을 산출하는 것이 연구의 최종 목적이라고 할 수 있다. 그런데 학교회계 데이터구조가 단식부기(2009~2017)에서 복식부기(2011~2017)로 변화됨에 따라 연도별로 서로 다른 데이터 구조를 반영하여 연구모형과 경쟁모형을 구안하였고, 학교회계 세입-세출구조에 따른 적정 예측모형을 다중회귀분석과 인공신경망 분석을 비교하여 제시하였다. 분석결과, 학교규모별, 세입‧세출 과목별로 서로 다른 적정교육비 예측모형이 선택되었으며, 각 과목별 회귀예측식이 산출되었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 향후 단위학교 교육비 분석 시 다중선형회귀분석 및 인공신경망 분석방법 적용의 타당성을 제시하였고, 학생당 적정교육비 확보 및 지출 규모가 학교규모에 따라 편차가 커지지 않도록 노력해야 함을 제언하였다. 향후 표준교육비 연구 등을 통해 학생당 적정교육비를 산출하는 연구가 지속적으로 진행되어야 할 것이다.
