The purpose of this paper is to clarify the influence of Heidegger’s philosophy on the development of the Daseinsanalysis based on his critique of Freud’s psychoanalysis. Freud criticized the fact that contemporary psychiatry did not have an independent system of scholarship, and tried to establish a new psychiatric foundation through his psychoanalysis. However, according to Heidegger’s critique, Freud did not fully grasp the mental phenomenon of man because he maintained the naturalistic attitude that he tried to overcome. Boss who had followed the method of psychoanalysis also criticized Freud. Furthermore, while accepting Heidegger’s Daseinsanalytik, Boss developed Daseinsanalysis which is his unique methodology applicable to the clinical situations. But the criticism of Freud in psychoanalysis and Daseinsanalysis is characteristic not only of following Heidegger’s point of view but also of directly using Heidegger’s philosophical terms. A comparison of Heidegger’s and Bose’s criticisms of Freud reveals the reason why Daseinsanalysis was derived from the criticism of psychoanalysis and Heidegger’s influence on Daseinsanalysis.

본 논문의 목적은 하이데거의 철학이 현존재분석의 발전에 끼친 영향을 그의 프로이트 비판에 대한 분석을 통하여 밝히는 것이다. 프로이트는 당대의 정신의학이 독자적 학문체계를 갖추지 못했음을 비판하면서, 정신분석을 통해서 새로운 정신의학의 정초를 세우고자 하였다. 그러나 하이데거의 비판에 따르면 프로이트는 자신이 극복하려 했던 자연과학적 태도를 그대로 유지함으로써 인간의 정신 현상을 온전히 파악하지 못했다. 정신분석의 방법을 따랐던 보스 역시도 프로이트를 비판하고 하이데거의 현존재분석론을 수용하여, 임상적 상황에 적용 가능한 자신의 고유한 방법론인 ‘현존재분석’을 발전시켰다. 그런데 보스의 『정신분석과 현존재분석』에서 나타나는 프로이트 비판은 하이데거의 관점에 입각하고 있을 뿐만 아니라, 직접적으로 하이데거의 철학적 용어들을 사용해서 전개되고 있다는 점이 특징적이다. 프로이트에 대한 하이데거와 보스의 비판을 비교 고찰해보면, 보스가 정신분석을 비판하면서 현존재분석을 주창하게 된 계기와 하이데거의 철학적 사유가 현존재분석에 준 영향을 밝힐 수 있을 것이다.
