This research explores the applicability of network analysis method as an evaluation method of character education. To do this, we conducted character education based on social relations for one class in the fourth grade of primary school and measured the result by network analysis method. In total, 10 lessons were given, and the subject was taught potential character education during the related class hours. The result of measuring of character education by network analysis method did not yield statistically meaningful results. However, it was confirmed that the relationship of students was improved through the change of the connection line and the interval of network analysis. What is important in the evaluation of character education is that it is necessary to confirm how the social relations of students have actually changed with the change of individual character index. Measuring changes in student social relations is possible through network analysis. The network analysis method is effective as a way of confirming how the improvement of the character index of a student actually changes between students.

본 연구는 인성교육의 평가방법으로서 네트워크 분석방법의 적용 가능성을 탐색하고 있다. 이를 위해 초등학교 4학년 1개 학급을 대상으로 사회적 관계성을 기반으로 한 인성교육을 실시하고 그 결과를 네트워크 분석방법으로 측정했다. 네트워크 분석방법은 학생의 인성지수 향상이 실제로 학생 간에 어떤 변화를 일으키는지 확인할 수 있는 방법으로써 효과가 있다. 그리고 교사로 하여금 학생 간 관계 지도에 필요한 정보를 구체적으로 확인할 수 있도록 한다.
