- The purpose of this study was to analyze research trends on the Individual Psychology of Alfred Adler in Korea, to set up research directions on the Individual Psychology of Alfred Adler in Korea. For the purpose, this study analyzed 170 journal articles and 224 theses from January 1976 to August 2018 using the following criteria: research time, research participants, research contents, research methods, core concepts of the Individual Psychology, research variables. The main results were as follows: First, in terms of research time, the number of research studies on the Individual Psychology has increased considerably since 2008. In terms of the participants, the most articles were concerning middle and high school students, and overall mostly articles concerning students (elementary school students, middle and high students, along with college and graduate students). In terms of research contents, the most articles were with respect to the relationships between the core concepts of Individual Psychology and the variables, followed by articles on effects, understanding, program development. In term of research methods, the most articles drew upon survey research, followed by experimental research, mixed research. In the terms of research concerning the core concepts of the Individual Psychology, most articles examined encouragement, followed by the Individual Psychology, social interest, life style, inferiority. In terms of variable, most articles focused on the core concept as an independent variable, followed by dependency variable, mediation variable. The results of this study are discussed and further studies are suggested.

- 본 연구의 목적은 아들러 개인심리학에 기반하여 수행된 연구 동향을 분석하여 아들러 개인심리학 연구의 방향을 설정하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 1976년 1월부터 2018년 8월까지 발표된 학술지 170편, 학위논문 224편을 연구시기, 연구대상, 연구내용, 연구방법, 핵심개념, 연구변인으로 분류하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 시기별로는 2008년부터 연구가 급증하였다. 연구대상자별로는 학생들(초등학생, 청소년, 대학생·대학원생)을 대상으로 주로 연구되었고, 특히 청소년을 대상으로 가장 많이 연구되었다. 연구내용별로는 개인심리학 핵심개념과 다른 변인간의 관계를 밝히는관련요인 연구가 가장 많이 이루어졌고, 다음으로 효과연구, 이해연구, 프로그램개발연구 순으로많이 이루어졌다. 연구방법별로는 조사연구가 가장 많이 이루어졌고, 다음으로 실험연구, 혼합연구 순으로 많이 이루어졌다. 핵심개념별로는 격려가 가장 많이 연구되었고, 다음으로 개인심리학, 사회적 관심, 생활양식, 열등감 순으로 많이 연구되었다. 연구변인별로는 핵심개념이 독립변인으로 사용된 연구가 가장 많았고, 다음으로는 종속변인, 매개변인 순으로 많이 이루어졌다. 이러한연구결과를 바탕으로 논의하고 후속연구를 제안하였다.
