Since the implementation of Enterprise Architecture (EA) becomes compulsory by the act, the necessity of IT Governance is emerging as the new issue in IT. In decision-making process for IT investment, interests have been raised in how to apply IT Governance based on EA. IT Governance implementation projects need to be proceeded with the clear purpose as EA. IT Governance based on EA operated by the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs (MLTM) is not the exact solution because it is in progress by trial and error. This paper is intended that the organizations could find solutions about implementation of EA and IT Governance by themselves through the case study of IT Governance based on EA operated by MLTM.

EA의 도입 의무화에 따라 IT 거버넌스의 필요성이 정보화의 새로운 화두로 부상하면서, IT 투 자에 대한 의사결정 과정에서 EA기반의 IT 거버넌스가 어떻게 활용될 수 있는지에 대한 관심이 집중 되고 있다. IT 거버넌스도 EA 도입과 마찬가지로 분명한 목적의식을 가지고 추진할 필요가 있다. 국 토해양부에서 운영 중인 EA기반의 IT 거버넌스는 시행착오를 거듭하며 지속적으로 진화하고 있는 진 행형이기 때문에 정확한 해법이라고 할 수는 없지만, 본 연구는 EA나 IT 거버넌스에 대한 Best Practice가 부족한 상황에서 국토해양부에서 운영 중인 EA기반의 IT 거버넌스 구축 및 활용 사례에 대해 살펴봄으로써, 여러 조직에서 고민하고 있는 부분에 대해 공감대를 형성하고, 조직 스스로가 문 제 해결의 실마리를 찾을 수 있기를 기대한다.
