Today when the social dependence on the information system is ever increasing, businesses are dependent on so many technologies and techniques enough that it is impossible to pursue business without information technology. To achieve the goals of the business such as revenue increase, risk reduction, cost saving, and business continuity, the resources of information technology are desperately required but the information system has a big barrier which is "IT productivity Paradox" Many efforts have been made to overcome the barrier but bring not-so-good fruits yet. This paper describes the methodological approach of cultivation in a method of "operating the information system effectively" to create the business value of IT. The heat of the sunlight necessary to the growth of the plant body is the business sponsorship for IT and the fertile soil and clean water with vitality becomes the strategic alignment and the business need. The information system as plant can bear good fruit which is to achieve the goals of the business only when it is realized "IT Governance" like the root which keeps the plant body and absorbs the pollination and the nutrition, Enterprise Architecture and Service-Oriented Architecture which is like the stem where become the passage of pollination and nutrient supply, and Service Management as love toward plants which is like invisible air according to "ITRM 333 Framework".

정보시스템에 대한 사회의존도가 날로 증가되고 있는 오늘날, 기업들은 정보기술 없는 비즈니스를 생각 할 수 없을 만큼 수없이 많은 기술에 의존하고 있다. 매출 증대, 위험 감소, 비용 절감, 비즈니스 연속성 등 비즈니스의 목표를 달성하기 위해서는 정보기술의 자원이 그 어느 때보다 절실히 요구되고 있는 상황이나 정보시스템은 "IT 투자의 생산성 패러독스"라는 커다란 장벽을 안고 있다. 이를 극복하기 위해 많은 노력을 하고 있지만, 대체로 좋은 결실을 맺지 못하고 있다. 본 논문은 "정보시스템의 효율적 운용" 방안으로서 작물재배 방법적 접근을 정보기술의 비즈니스 가치 재창출을 위해서 고찰한다. 재배환경에 필요한 햇볕은 정보기술에 대한 스폰서십이며, 생명력이 넘치는 비옥한 토양과 맑은 물은 전략적 연계와 비즈니스 요구가 된다. 정보시스템을 식물과 견줄 때, 식물체를 지탱하고 수분과 영양을 흡수하는 뿌리는 "IT 거버너스"에 해당하며, 수분과 영양보급의 통로가 되는 줄기인 엔터프라이즈 아키텍처와 유연한 가지인 서비스 지향 아키텍처 그리고 눈에 보이지 않는 공기처럼 식물 사랑하는 마음인 서비스 관리와 같은 기술들을 "ITRM 333 프레임워크"에 따라 실현할 때 비로소 정보시스템은 비즈니스 목표 달성이라는 훌륭한 결실을 맺을 수 있다.
