The purpose of this study is to investigate the search behavior of college and vocational career of Poomsae player. To accomplish the purpose of this study, we used closed - ended questionnaires using the self - assessment instrument. The development of the contents of the closed questionnaire consisted of the expert group and the content validity. The results of the research are as follows.First, the perpetrators who played a crucial role in exploring the career of the Poomsae player were found to be judicial leaders and parents, judging the individual 's competence by themselves. Second, it was considered that Pumsae 's athletic career and college' s awareness were considered first to search for college career. Third, it was found that the preference for the career group related to the Poomsae was found to depend on the confidence of their performance in searching the career path of the Poomsae player. Fourth, the preference for Poomsae players' college career is not related to Poomsae or Taekwondo, but there is a background in that college students are negatively perceived by the lack of future vision and job environment of Taekwondo profession.

본 연구는 품새 선수의 대학 및 직업 진로탐색 행동을 규명하는데 목적을 두고자 하였다. 이 연구의 목적을 달성 을 위하여 연구방법은 자기평가기입법을 활용한 명목척도의 폐쇄형 설문지를 활용하였다. 폐쇄형 설문지 내용의 개발 은 전문가 집단이 함께 협의하여 내용타당도를 구성하였다. 연구조사에 따른 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 품새 선수의 대 학 진로를 탐색하는데 결정적인 역할을 하는 주변인은 사범지도자 및 부모님으로 나타나 개인의 역량을 스스로 판단하 고 결정내리지 않고 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 품새 선수의 대학 진로를 탐색하는데 운동 실적 및 대학의 인지도를 우선 고려하는 것으로 나타나 대학의 유명세의 학벌이 선수의 발전에 도움이 된다고 생각하고 있었다. 셋째, 품새 선수 의 직업 진로를 탐색하는데 품새와 관련된 직업군에 대한 선호도는 자신의 경기력에 대한 신뢰에 의해 나타나는 것으로 확인되었다. 넷째, 품새 선수의 대학 진로를 탐색하는데 품새 도는 태권도와 관련되지 않은 직업군에 대한 선호도는 상 대적으로 태권도 직업의 미래 비전 부족과 직무환경의 열악함을 전공 대학생들이 부정적으로 인식하고 있는 것에 배경 이 있다고 확인되었다.
