This research is a bibliographical investigation of ‘the first volume of DaebanggwangWongagYagsojuGyeong (DWYG: 大方廣圓覺略䟽注經) stored at Baekcheon temple (百泉寺 所藏本)’ in Sacheon, Gyeongnam Province. The results of the study are as follows. 1) The plate (板式), itself and so on of the stored at Baekcheon temple are similar to Treasure No. 891 Daebanggwangbulhwaeomgyeongso (大方廣佛華嚴經疏) and the same as Treasure No. 893 the first volume of DWYG. It has characteristics of the printed edition republished by ‘Song edition (宋板)’. Therefore, this book is a republished edition of the Song edition published in Goryeo period. 2) The stored at Baekcheon temple included gakpil (角筆) and Ink inscription kugyol (墨書口訣) of the Goryeo period. Gakpil must have been written in the Goryeo period, and the investigation revealed that the lower limit of inscription of ‘ / (야사가)’ from Ink inscription kugyol is at least from the late Goryeo period to early Chosen period. 3) It is confirmed that printed characteristics of the stored at Baekcheon temple are in complete conformity with those of Treasure No. 893 the first volume of DWYG stored by ‘Adan Mun-go’. 4) An investigation of the physical bibliographies of the stored at Baekcheon temple showed that the paper quality (thickness: 0.06∼0.09㎜, number of frame base sticks: 12∼16 sticks, width of frame base sticks: 2.0∼3.5㎝) is similar to the temple edition of the Goryeo period, which distinguishes it from temple edition of early Chosen period. Therefore, it was recognized that this book would have been published in at least the 14th century. Consequently, the stored at Baekcheon temple is proved to be a documentary heritage published in the 14th century Goryeo and should be promoted as a national cultural property.

이 논문은 ‘百泉寺 소장 ｢大方廣圓覺略䟽注經｣ 卷上(百泉寺本)’에 관한 書誌的 연구이다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 百泉寺本의 板式과 字體 등은 ‘<보물 제891호> ｢大方廣佛華嚴經疏｣’와 恰似하고, ‘<보물 제893호> ｢大 方廣圓覺略䟽注經｣ 卷上’과 同一함으로써, 宋板本을 飜刻한 인쇄본의 특징을 지니고 있다. 따라서 이 책은 高麗時代에 간행된 宋板 飜刻本이다. 2) 百泉寺本에는 高麗時代의 角筆과 墨書口訣 등이 記入되어 있다. 角筆은 高麗時代에 기입된 것이 틀림없 고, 墨書口訣 중 특히 ‘ / (야사가)’의 記入의 下限時期는 ‘적어도 麗末鮮初’임을 파 악하였다. 3) 百泉寺本에 나타나는 인쇄상의 여러 특징들은 ‘<보물 제893호> (재)아단문고 소장 ｢大方廣圓覺略䟽注 經｣ 卷上’의 그것과 完全 一致함을 확인하였다. 4) 百泉寺本의 形態書誌 사항들을 조사한 결과, 이 책의 紙質(종이두께: 0.06∼0.09㎜, 발촉수: 12∼16촉, 발끈폭: 2.0∼3.5㎝)은 고려시대 寺刹本과 類似하며, 朝鮮初期 사찰본과는 確然한 差別을 보임으로써, 이 책은 늦어도 14世紀頃에 간행되었을 것임을 糾明하였다. 요컨대 百泉寺本은, 향후 국가문화재로 昇格되어야 할, 고려시대 14世紀頃에 간행된 貴重한 記錄遺産임을 파악하였다.
