This study is a basic research to suggest an educational method for improvement of presentation ability of KLP learners. It divided presentation ability required to KLP learners into 3-minute presentation and presentation and decided its elements. ‘3-minute’ presentation is one of the public speeches that is based on immediate speech through preparation and practice. It refers to presentation spreading one’s opinion and thought within limited time to audiences by systemizing academic contents for academic purpose learning condition. ‘Presentation’ refers to communicative behavior which speaker explains and persuades using visual material within 20-30 minutes after systematically organizing using various visual media. This paper defines “presentation ability” based on basic structure of academic purpose presentation as presentation preparation ability, presentation composition ability, presentation delivery ability, interacting ability, and settled the subcategories of each ability as purpose, subject setting, audience analysis, data collection and organization, summary and writing script, presentation, finishing and Q/A. Also, as for the situation presentation ability of ‘3-mintue presentation’ are settled as purpose, subject analysis, writing notes for presentation, nonverbal expression, and finishing presentation, while subcategories of ‘presentation’ are settled as subject analysis, summarizing essence of presentation, creating visual material for presentation, making slides, nonverbal expression, device operation and finishing presentation. Such categorization of presentation type and definition of elements can function as a systematic educational content for presentation training of KLP learners, and is significant as it can improve presentation ability of learners.

본 연구는 학문 목적 한국어 학습자의 발표 능력 신장을 위한 교육 방법 을 제안하기 위한 기초 연구로서, 학문 목적 한국어 학습자에게 요구되는 발표의 영역을 3분 발표와 프레젠테이션으로 나누어, 그 구성 요소를 설정 하였다. ‘3분 발표’는 공적 말하기 중 미리 준비와 연습을 거치는 즉석연설에 바 탕을 둔 것으로, 학문 목적 학습 상황에서는 학문적인 내용을 체계화하여 자신의 생각과 의견 등을 제한 시간 내에 청중들에게 알리는 발표를 의미 하며, ‘프레젠테이션’은 음성 언어뿐만 아니라 다양한 시청각 매체를 종합 적으로 활용하여 체계적으로 정리한 후 20-30분가량의 시간 내에 시각 자 료를 통해 설명이나 설득을 하는 의사소통 행위를 의미한다. 본고에서는 학문 목적 발표의 기본 구조에 따라 ‘발표 능력’을 크게 발표 준비 능력, 발표 내용 구성 능력, 발표 전달 능력, 상호작용 능력으로 규정 하고 각 능력의 하위 구성 요소를 목적과 주제 설정, 청중 분석, 자료 수집 및 정리, 개요 및 발표문 작성, 발표 실행, 정리 및 질의응답으로 나누어 설 정하였다. 그리고 ‘3분 발표’의 상황별 발표 능력의 하위 구성 요소는 목적 및 주제 분석, 발표용 메모 쓰기, 비언어적 표현, 발표 정리로, ‘프레젠테이 션’은 목적 및 주제 분석, 발표 핵심 요약, 자료 시각화 작성, 슬라이드 제 작, 비언어적 표현, 기기 조작, 발표 정리로 설정하였다. 이러한 발표 유형의 분류와 구성 요소들의 설정은 학문 목적 한국어 학 습자의 발표 교육을 위한 체계적인 교육 내용으로서의 기능을 할 수 있으며, 학습자들에게 발표 능력을 갖추게 할 수 있다는 데에 의의가 있다.
