In order to overcome the limitations of the previous research, text mining analysis was carried out on the contents of 112 calls received for 6 months from a police station of Gyeonggi province. As a result of analyzing calls related to theft, violence, domestic violence crime, keywords related to target, place of occurrence and type of illegal activity were extracted. In the calls of other criminal offenders, business obstruction, drunken driving, voice phishing were detected as important reports and clues were found to set the direction of police activities. In addition, alcohol drinking was extracted as a key word of calls related to disorder, and places with frequent occurrence of disorder and type of illegal behavior were also analyzed. Through text mining, we were able to systematically classify keywords related to the subject, object type, type of action, and place based on the contents of calls. This technique can also be applied to the police box and the clues to the police activities considering regional characteristics were confirmed. In this study, we confirmed the usefulness of text mining in analyzing a large amount of 112 reporting data, but we also confirmed the limitation of in-depth analysis in connection with other reporting related items. Based on the results of the analysis, we suggested 112 report analysis system and crime prediction system that reflects the mining technique, reorganization and expansion of the 112 reporting metrics for applying data mining techniques, strengthening various crime prevention activities through the analysis of 112 report data by crime prevention officer of the police station.

본 연구는 112신고 통계 중 일부 신고건수에 대한 분석을 수행하는데 그친 선행연 구의 한계를 극복하기 위해 경기도 소재 경찰서 1곳에 2017년 1월부터 6개월간 접수 된 범죄와 질서유지 관련 112신고내용에 대해 텍스트 마이닝 분석을 실시하였다. 범 죄관련 신고내용을 분석한 결과, 절도와 폭력, 가정폭력의 주요 범행대상과 발생장소, 불법행위 유형에 관한 핵심 키워드가 추출되었으며, 기타 형사범 항목에서는 업무방 해와 음주운전, 보이스피싱 등이 중요한 신고내용으로 탐색되어 이를 근거로 경찰서 관련 기능에서 경찰활동의 방향을 설정하는데 참고할만한 단서가 확인되었다. 또한 질서유지 관련 신고내용을 분석한 결과, 음주가 핵심 키워드로 추출되었으며 무질서 행위가 자주 발생하는 장소와 불법행위 유형 등도 확인되었다. 이러한 텍스트 마이닝 분석을 통해 112 신고내용으로부터 행위 주체와 대상, 행위 유형, 장소에 관한 키워 드를 체계적으로 분류할 수 있었으며, 이러한 분석기법을 경찰서에 소속된 지구대와 파출소별 신고내용에 적용하여 지역별 특성을 고려한 경찰활동에 대한 단서가 확인 되었다. 본 연구에서는 방대한 양의 112신고자료 분석에 대한 텍스트 마이닝의 유용 성을 확인하였지만 다른 신고관련 항목과 연계되어 심층적인 분석이 어려운 한계도 확인하였다. 분석결과를 토대로 마이닝 기법을 반영한 112신고 분석시스템 및 범죄발 생 예측시스템의 구축, 112신고 통계항목의 확대 개편, 경찰서 범죄예방 전담경찰관 중심의 112신고 자료 분석을 통한 다양한 범죄예방 활동 강화의 정책적 시사점을 도출하였다.
