As the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, various events took place. The Reformed Church, which began with the Reformation, is a church that must always be reformed. The Korean church can be seen as a church that is 130 years old or 150 years old. Does the Korean church maintain the spirit of Reformed Church? From this point of view, the Korean church emphasizes only the Bible, which neglects the practice. As we speak only of grace, we have weakened the consciousness of ethics. And it is difficult to see a distinctive life, claiming faith. If so, the Korean church must reclaim the essence of faith through thorough repentance. Together with this spirit of reform, reunification is a missionary task of reconciliation. In order to prepare for reunification, first of all, it is necessary to practice the love of the neighbors in line with the North Korean defectors around us. Also, unification education should be conducted to understand and prepare for reunification. Outside of it, it is devoid of ideological conflicts and it is to fulfill the mission of the prophets centering on the Bible. Therefore, we must prepare for the reform of the church to spread into the transformation of society and lead to the reunification of North and South Korea.

종교개혁 500주년이 되면서 다양한 행사가 진행되었다. 종교개혁으로 시작된 개혁교회는 항상 개혁되어야 하는 교회이다. 한국교회는 선교 130년 또는 150년 된 교회로 볼 수 있다. 선교 100년이 넘은 한국교회는 개혁교회의 정신을 잘 유지하고 있을까? 이런 관점에서 살펴볼 때 한국교회는 성경만을 강조하다 보니 실천을 소홀히 한 면이 있다. 또 은혜만을 말하다 보니 윤리의식의 약화를 가져왔다. 그리고 믿음을 주장하지만 구별된 삶을 보기 어렵다. 그렇다면 한국교회는 철저한 회개를 통해 신앙의 본질을 되찾아야 한다. 이런 개혁정신과 더불어 통일은 막힌 담을 헐고 화해하는 선교적 과제이다. 통일준비를 위해 먼저 주변에 있는 탈북민들에게 시선을 맞춰 이웃사랑을 실천해야 한다. 또한 통일교육을 실시하여 통일을 이해하고 준비해야 한다. 대외적으로는 이념갈등에서 벗어나 성경을 중심으로 예언자적 사명을 감당하는 일이다. 그리하여 교회의 개혁이 사회의 변혁으로 확산되고 남북통일로 이어질 수 있도록 준비해야 한다.
