Principles of New Testament Commentary by Jung-Ryu Dr. Sang Keun Lee -Focusing on Matthew 16: 15-20 - Bae, Jae Woog (Youngnam Theological University and Seminary, New Testament, Prof.) The Korean Catholic Church is in a new phase of revival, but the Korean Protestant Church is in a more difficult phase. In the face of this reality, the problem of interpreting the Bible is be important. The commentary of commutation was an academic guideline for pastors at that time. His comment played an important role in supporting the Korean Church in the previous era. After discussing what theological thought can be found in commutation, we should explore the meaning and value of the church history of the New Testament commentary on commutation. The era when rectification was active was the era in which the gospel was enthusiastic about the gospel and raced for the best life in ministry and mission with the emotion and grace of the gospel. In the name of pe,troj and pe,tra granted to Peter in Matthew 16: 15-20, which is used as a basis for claiming the dominion of the Roman Church, the Roman Catholic Church has a meaning in the early church Can be seen. According to Calvin's argument, rectification acknowledges the position of Peter, but rejects the claim of the Church of Rome that a church was built on Peter. Although evkklhsi,a is considered to be the work of the early church, evkklhsi,a seems to be the origin of the historical Jesus. The rectification in Matthew 16: 15-20 follows Calvin's thought in the interpretation of sa.rx kai ai-ma. Rectification commented on the Bible with the eyes of the theologian. The restoration and renewal of the Korean church in the downturn is in returning to the Bible. The commentary of commutation is also a good guide for the modern Korean church. I will try to open up a new future by using the old thing as a mirror to see the meaning of Ongoijishin(溫故而知新, the review the old and learn the new).

한국 가톨릭은 새로운 중흥을 맞고 있지만, 한국 개신교는 더 어려운 국면에 처해 있다. 이런 현실 앞에서 성경 해석 문제가 중요하게 대두되었다. 정류의 주석서는 당시의 목회자들을 위한 학문적인 길잡이였다. 그의 주석은 전시대(前時代) 한국교회를 지탱한 중요한 역할을 감당했다. 정류에게서 찾을 수 있는 신학사상은 무엇인가에 대하여 논한 후 정류의 신약성경 주석이 가진 교회사적인 의미와 가치를 탐구해야 한다. 정류가 활동했던 시대는 복음에 대한 열성으로 복음이 주는 감격과 은혜로 목회하고 선교하는 데 최선의 삶을 경주한 시대였다. 마태복음 16장 15~20절에 베드로의 신앙고백이 나타난다. 로마 가톨릭교회는 베드로 수위권과 로마 교회의 수위권을 주장하는 근거로 사용하는 마태복음 16장 15~20절에서 베드로에게 부여된 pe,troj와 pe,tra란 이름 속에서 베드로가 초기 교회에서 어떤 의미가 있는지를 볼 수 있다. 정류는 신학자의 눈으로 성서를 주석했다. 칼빈의 논지를 따라 정류도 베드로가 차지한 위치에 대해서 인정하지만 베드로 위에 교회가 세워졌다는 로마 교회의 주장을 배격한다. 현대 신약학자들은 evkklhsi,a란 말을 초기 교회의 작품으로 생각하기도 하지만 evkklhsi,a를 역사적인 예수에 기원을 두는 것이 맞다고 본다. 마태복음 16장 15-20절에서 정류는 sa.rx kai. ai-ma에 대한 해석에서 칼빈 사상을 따른다. 침체기에 처해 있는 한국교의 회복과 갱신은 성경으로 돌아가는 데 있다. 정류의 주석은 현대 한국 교회를 위해서도 요긴한 지침이 된다. 온고이지신(溫故而知新)의 뜻을 살펴 옛것을 거울삼아 새로운 미래를 개척해 가야 할 것이다.
