This paper aims to investigate the way how the 4 types of writing style in the mixed-scripts influenced each other during the ends of 19th century and the year of 1910, by analysing the characteristics of the writing style of the editorials of Dae-Han Mae-Il Shin-Bo in 1910. In chapter 2, by counting the numbers of editorials which are containing the defining factors of 4 the types of Mixed-scripts, the author concluded that the writing style of the editorials are based on the writing style of Seo-Yu-Gyeon-Mun, but various defining factors of the other types are included in one editorial, which can be interpreted as the signs of unification of the writing styles of pre-modern mixed-scripts and progress in the modernizations of mixed-scripts. In chapter 3, by comparing the usages of the verbs in the editorials of Dae-Han Mae-Il Shin-Bo and Seo-Yu-Gyeon-Mun, statistical differences of the two texts are caused by deconstructions of chino-korean phrasal verbs, especially the bi-syllabic verbs used for expressing negation, and changing the chino-korean mono-syllabic verbs into Korean words. As a consequence, the ratio of word-forms in Han-gul scripts are increased almost three times, which shows that the modernizations of mixed-scripts already have started in 1910.

이 글은 19세기말에 출현한 여러 유형의 국한혼용문이 19세기말에서 1910년에 이르는 사이 어떤 방향성을 가지고 어떻게 서로 영향을 주고 받았는지, 그리고 그 결과는 어떻게 반영되는지를 1910년의 신문 사설에 쓰인 국한혼용문이 지니고 있는 문체 특성을 바탕으로 이해하는 데에 일차적인 목적을 두었다. 아울러 그러한 특성이 현대 한국어 문체 형성사의 이해라는 측면에서 지니는 의미를 용언류 용법에서 고유어 용언의 사용 확대와 한문구 용언의 해체를 통해 살펴보았다. 2장에서는 근대계몽기 국한혼용문 유형론에서 유형 구분의 근거로 삼았던 요소들이 1910년의 사설 텍스트에서 어떻게 쓰이고 있는지를 분석하여, 분석 대상이 된 사설 텍스트에는 이전 시기의 여러 유형의 국한혼용문이 지니고 있던 특성이 섞여 있지만, 전체적인 문체는 이전 시기의 국한혼용문보다 한문 문법의 영향을 벗어나려는 모습을 보임을 확인하였다. 3장에서는 『대한매일신보』의 사설과 19세기말 국한혼용문의 대표적 문체를 보여준다고 할 수 있는 『서유견문』 텍스트를 용언류의 사용 양상을 중심으로 대조하여, 두 국한혼용문이 보여주는 차이가 문체 현대화의 특징인 한문구의 해체 및 한자어 용언의 고유어화에서 기인한 것임을 확인하였다. 한문구의 해체는 특히 부정표현의 방식이 한문구 용언를 이용하는 방식에서 고유어 용언을 이용한 표현으로 바뀐 것이 대표적인 예로, 이를 통해 텍스트 안에서의 부정 표현 용언류의 용례가 대폭 늘어난 것을 확인하였다.
