The purpose of this study is to develop a conceptual model of online case based learning instruction design that is expected to be actively applied in future teaching and learning field with the rapid development of online learning environment. For this purpose, the first conceptual model and design principle of online case based learning was constructed based on the related research and the review was requested by 8 experts. After the discussion of the experts' opinions, we made a second conceptual model and design principles based on the items suggested by the experts as urgent elements to be supplemented, and the contents that the researchers need to modify the internal discussion results. Prior to finalization of the final model, a part of the design theory of the author of the instructional design field that can enhance the fit of the model was extracted and reflected at the final stage. Finally, the concept model was composed of five components: learning design aspect, learning value aspect, learning culture aspect, learning competence aspect, and online support media and resources. The components for designing online case based learning lesson are 7 offline activities and 6 online activities. At the end of this paper, we developed nine design principles and 19 detailed guidelines that teachers can refer to when designing lessons. The nine design principles are: 1) principle of presentation of case based learning outcomes centered, 2) principle of efficient distributed distribution of cases, 3) principles of multimedia-based case presentation, 4) principles of various real-world reflection, 5) Principle of case integration and separation, 6) Learner - friendly case presentation, 7) Principle of learner's case development support, 8) Principle of providing online reflection, 9) Principles of accumulation and generalization of cases were developed.

이 연구는 최근 온라인 학습 환경의 비약적인 발전으로 향후 교수·학습 현장에서 활발히 적용될 것으로 기대되는 온라인 사례기반학습 수업설계의 개념 모형의 개발과 그에 따른 설계 원리를 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 관련 선행연구를 바탕으로 온라인 사례기반학습의 1차 개념 모형 및 설계 원리를 제작하고 8명의 전문가에게 검토를 의뢰하였다. 전문가의 검토 의견에 대해 연구진의 논의를 거쳐 전문가가 시급히 보완해야 할 요소로 제시한 사항과 연구진의 내부 논의 결과 수정이 필요하다고 판단되는 내용을 중심으로 2차 개념 모형 및 설계 원리를 제작하였다. 최종 모형 확정에 앞서 교수설계 분야의 권위자의 설계 이론 중 이 모형의 적합도를 높일 수 있는 부분을 추출하여 최종 단계에서 반영하였다. 최종적으로 개발된 개념 모형은 학습설계적 측면, 학습가치적 측면, 학습문화적 측면, 학습역량적 측면, 그리고 온라인 지원 매체 및 자원의 다섯 가지 구성요소로 이루어졌으며, 온라인 사례기반학습 수업 설계를 위한 구성 요소는 오프라인 활동 7가지, 온라인 활동 6가지로 제시하였다. 마지막으로, 교사가 수업 설계시 참고할 수 있는 사항으로 총 9개의 설계원리와 19개의 상세 지침을 개발하였다. 설계원리로는 1) 사례 중심의 학습 결과 제시 원리, 2) 사례의 효율적 분산 배치의 원리, 3) 멀티미디어 기반의 사례 제시 원리, 4) 다양한 실세계 반영의 원리, 5) 사례 통합 및 분할의 원리, 6) 학습자 친화적 사례 제시의 원리, 7) 학습자 개별 사례 개발 지원의 원리, 8) 온라인 성찰 제공의 원리, 9) 사례의 누적화 및 일반화의 원리가 개발되었다.
