This current study purposes to suggest a learner-oriented effective teaching-learning method for regulations of the Korean language, which is the fundamental and essential education element in Korean writing classes at the collegiate level. The depth of dealing Regulations of the Korean language differ by the individual abilities of the teacher or the educational environment of a writing course, where there is a lack o of consistent education level. However, regulations of Korean language is the most practical subject and is one of the most emphasized subject based on the necessity perceived by the learner him/herself, where no negligence should be allowed. Furthermore, proper sentencing is the essence for good prose, thus regulations of Korean language is by far one of the most crucial education subject. Accordingly, this current study proposes an effective project activities simulating real-life situation, implied to a mandatory writing class from 1st semester of 2018 at Korea National University of Transportation focusing on regulations of Korean language amongst other topics of writing, and discovered that students have high satisfaction to such activities. This current study has its significance for its realization in effectively inducing the interest of students and enhancing their participation, while alleviating the mental stress toward regulations of Korean language which is commonly perceived as a hard and difficult subject.

본고는 대학 교양 글쓰기 수업에서 가장 기초이자 필수적 교육 요소인 어 문 규정에 대하여 학습자 중심의 효과적인 학습 방법을 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 어문 규정은 주로 글쓰기 수업에서 교수자의 역량이나 교육 환경에 따라 비중 있게 다뤄지기도 하지만 천차만별로 교육되고 있다. 그러나 어문 규정은 가장 실용적인 학습 내용이자 학습자가 스스로 자각하여 필요성을 높게 인지하는 부분이기 때문에 소홀히 할 수 없으며, 좋은 글의 기본은 올 바른 문장에서 비롯되기 때문에 필수적인 교육 내용이라고 할 수 있다. 따 라서 본 연구는 글쓰기에 관한 다양한 논의 중 어문 규정에 한하여 교재 분 석과 교수 면담을 병행하여 현행 교육의 문제와 개선 방향을 살펴보았고, 이를 바탕으로 2018년 1학기에 한국교통대학교에서 진행한 글쓰기 수업 사 례를 통해 학생들의 학업 성취도와 만족도를 높일 수 있는 교육 방안을 제 시하였다. 이 연구는 자칫 딱딱하고 어렵다는 편견을 갖는 어문 규정 내용 에 대해 이전까지 교재와 교수자에게만 의존해 왔던 단조로운 수업 방식을 넘어 실생활과 연계하여 학습자 중심의 실제적 과제를 제시함으로써 학습 자와 교수자의 심리적 부담감을 줄여주고 수업에 대한 흥미 유발과 참여도 를 높이는 데 효과적인 학습 방법으로 구현되었다는 점에서 유의미한 교수 법이라 할 수 있다.
