The aim of this research is to empirically investigate the relationships among the determinants of supply chain partnership, cooperative activities and partnership performance for export SMEs. Total 7 hypotheses including 2 mediating effects of cooperative activities have been proposed with 4 potential variables such as compatability, flexibility, cooperative activities and partnership performance. PLS(Partial Least Squares) based on SEM(Structural Equation Model) has been used as an empirical analysis method with 200 export SMEs samples. Research findings of this study are as follows. First, compatability has significant impacts on both cooperative activities and partnership performance. Second, flexibility has a positive impact on cooperative activities but has not on partnership performance. Third, cooperative activities has an significant impact on partnership performance. In case of the mediating effect, cooperative activities have a partial mediating effect between compatability and partnership performance and they have a full mediating effect between flexibility and partnership performance. The implication of this paper is that export SMEs which are willing to improve partnership performance along with overseas supply chain partners should take into consideration that the compatability is the main factor connected to the performance directly. In addition, export SMEs have to set up proper cooperative activities and use them as a method of connecting between flexibility and partnership performance.

본 연구는 우리나라 수출중소기업을 분석대상 표본으로 하여 공급사슬 파트너십 결정요인, 공급사슬 협력활동과 파트너십 성과 간의 관계 를 파악하고자 연구모형을 구축하고 실증분석을 수행하였다. 공급사슬 파트너십 결정요인으로는 양립가능성과 유연성을, 그리고 파트너십 성 과로는 전략적 성과를 설정하였으며, 4개 잠재변인 간의 인과관계와 협력활동의 매개효과를 포함한 총 7개의 가설을 수립하였다. 총 200개 수출 중소기업으로부터 유효한 설문결과를 수거하여 실증분석을 실시하였으며, 분석방법은 PLS(Partial Least Squares) 구조방정식모형을 사용하였 다. 분석 결과 양립가능성은 협력활동과 파트너십 성과에 모두 정(+)의 관계를 보였으나, 유연성은 협력활동에만 영향을 줄 뿐 파트너십 성과에 는 유의한 영향을 미치지 못했다. 한편 협력활동은 파트너십 성과에 긍정적인 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 매개효과 분석 결과 협력활동은 양 립가능성과 파트너십 성과 사이에서 부분매개 역할을 수행하며, 유연성과 파트너십 성과 사이에서는 완전매개 역할을 하고 있음을 확인하였다. 가설검정 결과를 토대로 수출중소기업에게 유용한 실무적 시사점을 제시하고 기존 연구결과들과의 차이점을 기술하였다.
