This study attempted to be beside of comparison study focused on the macroscopic level of analysis and the subject of study, and relate the microscopicdimension of level of analysis and the subject of study with comparison study. Through level of analysis and target of analysis of microscopic dimension, the researcher reconstituted not only observer’s gaze but also insider’s perspective for comparison study. Also the researcher paid attention to the role of time in comparison study and tried to balance the spatial and temporal dimensions from the genetic pint of view. The researchers named the approach that considers the microscopic level of analysis, target of analysis and temporal dimension “Micro Comparison Study from the genetic point of view.” The two dance groups have developed from clubs to amateur dance groups by Korean women around the same time, and performed 2-30 times every year. Although there are differences in the organization and operation between Korea and Germany dance group, both dance groups have similar characteristics to amateur dance groups who are aiming to perform. The researcher selected Berlin and Gyeonggido Senior Citizen Dance Groups where the researcher participated as a dance instructor more than two years to illustrate the usefulness of the approach. Finally, the researcher emphasized the necessity and importance of field researchin social sciences through the Micro Comparison Study from the Genetic Point of View. The microscopic approach and the time study of comparison studies are the key to why functionalism anthropology has achieved great success in comparison studies of the early 20th century.

이 연구는 거시적 분석수준과 연구대상에 초점이 맞추어진 비교연구에서 벗어나 분석수준과 연구대상의 미시적 차원과 비교연구를 연계시키고자 하였다. 이렇게 미시적 차원의 분석수준과 분석대상을 통해 연구자는 비교연구에 있어 관찰자의 시선뿐만 아니라 연구대상과 직접적으로 관련 있는 내부자의 관점을 재구성할수 있다. 또한 연구자는 비교연구에 있어 시간의 역할에 주목하여 발생적 관점에서 비교연구의 공간적 차원과 시간적 차원을 균형을 맞추려고 하였다. 비교연구의미시적 분석수준과 연구대상 그리고 시간차원을 고려한 접근법을 연구자들은 “발생적 관점에서 미시비교연구”라고 명명하였다. 연구자는 이러한 접근법의 유용성을 보여줄 사례로 연구자가 2년 이상 무용강사로 참여한 베를린과 경기도의 무용단을 선정하였다. 두 무용단은 비슷한 시기에 한국여성들이 동아리에서 아마추어무용단으로 발전시켜 매년 20-30회의 공연을 하였다. 비록 독일과 한국이라는 환경적 차이로 무용단 조직관리나 운영에 차이가 있지만, 두 무용단 모두 아마추어무용단이 지니는 문화적 특징은 비슷하다. 마지막으로 연구자는 발생적 관점에서미시비교연구를 통해 사회과학에서 있어 현장연구의 필요성과 중요성을 강조하였다. 비교연구에 대한 미시적 접근과 시간연구는 20세기 초 비교연구에서 왜 기능주의 인류학이 큰 성공을 거두었는지에 대한 중요한 열쇠이다.
