In this study, I attempted to classify three types of “passive verb + tearu” phrases as the An expression representing the meaning of the resultant Also, it was clarified that the usage environment is different for each type. Finally, I tried to clarify the usage characteristics of only “passive verb + tearu”, which is different from existing “active verb + tearu”. In this study, I analyzed the appearance patterns of 609 examples of “passive verb + tearu” sentences collected from KOTONOHA copus material. 1) The phrase “passive verb + tearu” can be classified into three types, of which there is a unique ‘type C’ that indicates the presence of an invisible subject noun. 2) Type A is the most frequent, and Type B and Type C are the least frequently. 3) The phrase “passive verb + tearul” is mostly used in conjunction with the position clause, and type A has the highest concordance rate. 4) More than 90% of the phrases “passive verb + tearul” take subject nouns as subject, and sometimes they take abstract nouns and people as subjects. 5) There was no tendency to use the resultant expression before or after the “passive verb + earu” syntax.
