Who are the intruders? Intention to intrude others’ privacy on SNS : Focused on specific behavior (collecting, writing, and distributing others’ privacy)
Nowadays, the development of SNS has a great impact on people’s daily lives, especially on the way of communication. In order to connect each other, people make profiles which include lots of their information, even sensitive personal data. During this procedure, SNS users’ privacies are both consciously and unconsciously disclosed by other users. Therefore, public discourse sheds light on privacy intrusion issues on SNS. In the meantime, there is relatively rare research on intruders than victims. In this research, the problem of privacy intrusion on SNS is explored from the intruders’ perspective. To be specific, intention to intrude others privacy on SNS is examined based on the factors of cultural, social, and individual level.
