- Since smartphones have been rapidly deployed, the environment for easy exposure to the Internet has been created, and the tendency to smartphone addiction is also on the rise. Although there have been various studies related to smartphone addiction so far, there is no study on perceived stress, procrastination, and sensation-seeking tendency in smartphone addiction. Therefore, this study attempts to analyze the effect of perceived stress, sensation-seeking tendency and procrastination on smartphone addiction. For this purpose, the study proposes a research model on the basis of tension reduction theory developed by Conger. This is helpful to understand smartphone addiction behavior.
