- In this study, we investigate what factors are considered in investing under the new investment method of ICO. In addition, identify which of the derived factors act as a central variable in decision making. This study will survey IT practitioners and non-IT workers who had invested in ICO and derive a model including new investment considerations that can appear under ICO through exploratory factor analysis. In addition, this study examines the relative influence of factors on investment decision making by conducting a regression analysis on the factors of the model and using moderating variable as IT worker and non-IT worker. This study academically examines whether existing investment theories can be equally applied to ICO, and extends the model considering the characteristics of ICO alone. It also provides hands-on insight into what factors need to be addressed in order to achieve ICO success.
